Thank you for joining with us today as we worship our risen Lord and
Savior—Jesus Christ! Our prayer is that you would be spiritually enriched as
you join us in singing praises to God, hearing from God’s Word, and being
together with other members of God’s family. If you have children, please
entrust them to the care of our dedicated teachers. Childcare is available for

FCC will be hosting the Annual TLC Dinner Auction on Saturday, April 23.
In order to make this a successful event we are seeking auction items. Here
are some suggestions for possible donations: $10 gift certificates (Starbucks,
Jitter Bean, Target, Safeway, Winco, etc.), fire wood, paintings, gift baskets,
jewelry, quilts, photographs, or services (gardening, painting, hauling, cooking,
cleaning, etc.). Donated items are needed at FCC by April 15. For more information contact Lawana Martin at 442-0487.

The Praise Team wants YOU!
We are looking for musicians to join our Praise Team. We usually practice
Sunday mornings at 8 AM and play for the 11:00 AM service. We try to
practice during the week if schedules allow. If you play an instrument and
would like to join us or have any questions, please contact Cory Cook at
845-1506 or the Church Office at 442-6774.
Do You Play the Piano?
The first service needs substitute pianists for the hymns and/or the choir.
You will be so blessed by this ministry! The choir generally runs through June.

who have completed 4th – 6th grades. The dates being considered are the week
of June 20 or the week of June 27. So far, we have commitments for a Sewing
Camp. If you are interested in sharing your talents and abilities through this

The upcoming Rescue Mission Auxiliary Luncheon takes place Monday,
April 18, 2016, at Grace Baptist Church, 220 Buhne Street, Eureka, 12
NOON to 2 PM. Cost is $1, and a canned food item. The speaker is Pastor
Kiyle Decker, of Grace Baptist Church. Music will be provided by Anissa
Decker.

Thank you to each one who donated items, made props, helped with set-up
and take-down, invited, attended or was a host at our first annual Hope
Reborn at Easter event last weekend. It definitely took all of us working
together to create the platform. From the comments we have received, then
the Holy Spirit brought healing, conviction and understanding to those who
came. We had approximately 230-250 attend (very good for the first year!).
Some of the comments we received follow:
 “I loved all the arrangements and how everything flowed together.”
 “Loved this! All the stations allowed time to reflect. The items made it
real.”
 “Washing my hands in the way Pilate did.”
 “Nailing our sins on the cross.”
 “The whole thing had a big impact on me but especially the DVD.
To actually see it reenacted was really intense.”
 “The movie and feeling the thorns and the whip.”
 “The contemplation, the cross, the empty tomb.”
 “The rooster – don’t quite know why, but he made it seem real.
The mocking scene.”
 “Nailing our sins to the cross! I think it really helped my kids to
understand better. It was powerful and very visual. Thank you.”
 “Powerful images of Christ’s sacrifice. Visualization makes it feel so
powerful.”

From Nancy Farr (4/8): We have a granddaughter! Ruth Tabitha Farr was born last night
in Colorado (to our son Nathan and his wife, Elizabeth). She weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz., and
20 ¼ inches. Mother and baby are doing well. Her three brothers (Noah, Sam, and Josh)
are thrilled to have a baby sister. Also, thank you for your prayers for my trip to North
Carolina. I arrived home on Tuesday. My mother is doing well after surgery, and we had a
good three weeks together. She has regained most of the strength in her arm and leg, and is
able to manage on her own now. Please continue to pray for full recovery.

From Lynn Rieke (4/7): Please pray for Jevonne’s family as her grandma passed away
unexpectedly yesterday afternoon. Please pray for peace and comfort as the family is still
grieving Jevonne’s uncle who passed away recently. Thank you.
From Kala Martin (4/7): Please pray for our friends, Josh & Jamie, as they are going through
a difficult time regarding custody of Jaime’s 3 daughters (ages 15, 12, & 10) from a previous
marriage. Jamie’s ex-husband has been dishonest with the courts and has caused her
daughters to be taken from her and placed in his custody. The girls have said they don’t
want to be with their dad due to some inappropriate behavior. Please pray for peace, strength,
and wisdom as Jamie continues to fight to get her daughters back. Pray that the truth will be
revealed. Thank you.
From Anonymous (4/7): Please pray for Debbie Felt, that her hand would heal correctly and
soon, that she might get full use of it. Thank you.
From Laura Morris (4/4): Diane Carstensen’s brother, Craig Walker, found out he has a
mass behind his eye which the doctor’s believe is cancerous. He will be having surgery on
Thursday and the doctors say they may have to remove his eye. Please pray for healing, skill
for the doctors and travel decisions and safety for Diane to get to Arizona. (Diane’s husband
is already on the way). Craig is a Christian – please pray for peace for all involved. Thank you.

 My mom, Dorothy AxSmith, is stable and comfortable – the Physical Therapy is helping to
strengthen her. Please continue to pray for her comfort and peace. Thank you, Carol Davidson
 Thank you for praying for my friend. The mass in her abdomen has gotten smaller due to
radiation treatments. She is hopeful that it will shrink enough that she won’t have to have
surgery. Please continue to pray for her. Thank you, Susie Martin
From Jacque Smith (3/31): Good news! The neurologist has decided that Jimmy can try a
nerve block for his back pain issue. Previously they said a nerve block was not an option. Please pray that we can get it scheduled during the first two weeks of May so that he
might get relief from pain before I leave for my trip to Spain. Thank you.
