Thank you to each one who donated items, made props, helped with set-up and take-down, invited, attended or was a host at our first annual Hope Reborn at Easter event last weekend. It definitely took all of us working together to create the platform. From the comments we have received, then the Holy Spirit brought healing, conviction and understanding to those who came. We had approximately 230-250 attend (very good for the first year!). Some of the comments we received follow: “I loved all the arrangements and how everything flowed together.” “Loved this! All the stations allowed time to reflect. The items made it real.” “Washing my hands in the way Pilate did.” “Nailing our sins on the cross.” “The whole thing had a big impact on me but especially the DVD. To actually see it reenacted was really intense.” “The movie and feeling the thorns and the whip.” “The contemplation, the cross, the empty tomb.” “The rooster – don’t quite know why, but he made it seem real. The mocking scene.” “Nailing our sins to the cross! I think it really helped my kids to understand better. It was powerful and very visual. Thank you.” “Powerful images of Christ’s sacrifice. Visualization makes it feel so powerful.” To God be the glory! She weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz., and 20 ¼ inches. Mother and baby are doing well. Her three brothers (Noah, Sam, and Josh) are thrilled to have a baby sister. Also, thank you for your prayers for my trip to North Carolina. I arrived home on Tuesday. My mother is doing well after surgery, and we had a good three weeks together.
