Here is a selected list of children’s books for Grades PreK-3 that can be used to teach topics in
the life science, earth science and physical science. References in brackets [Ansberry 2007] identify a
teaching aid with suggested teaching activities. (Not all entries identify a teaching aid.) Teaching aids
are listed on the last page.
Life Science – The study of living things.
