Assembly Instructions
8. Stand the unit upright and move to your desired location against wall.
9. Identify which material your wall is constructed of. Follow the steps below to secure the unit onto the wall.
For Wooden Stud Drywall
10. Position assembled bookcase against the wall where you intend to place. Using the back rail of Second Shelf
(H) as a template, mark 2 mounting hole locations on the wall. Lift the bookcase away and drill two 3/8”
holes at the marked locations. Press Drywall Anchors (7) into the holes and lightly tap until the flange on the
anchor against the wall surface. Attach the Second Shelf (H) over the anchors in the wall with two M6 x
50mm Self-tapping Screws (5) and securely tighten with the Allen Key provided. See detail #3.
NOTE: If the mounting holes coincide with Wooden Studs, use the M6 x 50mm Self-tapping Screws only in
these holes. Use a quality Stud Finder to locate the studs where you intend to place the bookcase. Finding the
center is critical to proper anchor your bookcase to the wall. Using a 3/16” drill bit, pre-drill the mounting
holes at least 1 1/2" deep at the locations. Securely attach the Second Shelf (H) over the pilot holes on Wooden
Studs using two M6 x 50mm Self-tapping Screws (5). See detail #3A.
For Solid Concrete Wall
11. Position assembled bookcase against the wall where you intend to place. Using the back rail of Second Shelf
(H) as a template, mark 2 mounting hole locations on the wall. Using a 17/64” masonry drill bit, drill the
mounting holes at least 1 1/2" deep at the marked locations. Insert Concrete Anchors (6) into the holes and
lightly tap them flush with the concrete surface with rubber mallet or hammer, even if there is a layer of
drywall or other material in front of the concrete. Attach the Second Shelf (H) over the anchors in the wall
with two M6 x 50mm Self-tapping Screws (5) and securely tighten with the M4 Allen Key. See detail #3.
Young children can be killed when furniture tips over. Place heavy items
on lower shelves. You must use anchors to secure furniture to wall. Make sure that all objects
are removed before moving the assembled unit. The unit must be team lifted, not dragged or
pushed. Failure to do so could cause instability, product collapse, and/or serious injury.

Care and Maintenance
 Use a soft, clean cloth that will not scratch the surface when dusting.
 Use of furniture polish is not necessary. Should you choose to use polish, test in an
inconspicuous area first.
 Using solvents of any kind on your furniture may damage your furniture’s finish.
 Never use water to clean your furniture as it may cause damage to the finish.
 Always use coasters under beverage glasses and flowerpots.
 Liquid spills should be removed immediately. Using a soft clean cloth, blot the spill gently.
Avoid rubbing.
 Always use protective pads under hot dishes and plates. Heat can cause chemical changes that
may create spotting within the furniture finish.
 Stains or marks from crayons or ink markers will be difficult to remove.
 In the event that your furniture is stained or otherwise damaged during use, we recommend that
you call a professional to repair your furniture.
 Check bolts/screws periodically and tighten them if necessary.
Further advice about wood furniture care
It is best to keep your furniture in a climate-controlled environment. Extreme temperature and
humidity changes can cause fading, warping, shrinking and splitting of wood. It is advised to keep
furniture away from direct sunlight as sun may damage the finish.
Proper care and cleaning at home will extend the life of your purchase. Follow the important and
helpful tips that will enhance your furniture as it ages.
We hope you enjoy your purchase for many years.
Thank you for your purchase.
