GENERAL LOAN ACCOUNT APPROPRIATION ACT. Act No. 34, 1956. An Act to provide for the appropriation of a certain sum out of the General Loan Account and for the application of that sum for certain Public Works and Services; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 9th November, 1956.] W H E R E A S the Australian Loan Council at its seventy-fifth meeting held on the twenty-sixth, twenty-seventh and twenty-eighth days of June, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-six, decided in pursuance of Clause 3 (9) of P a r t I of the Agreement set out in the schedule to the Einancial Agreement Act, 1944, t h a t the amount to be borrowed for the loan loan programmes of the Commonwealth and the States for the financial year ending on the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-seven, shall be two hundred and ten million pounds, and by unanimous decision allocated an amount of fifty-five million two hundred and eight thousand pounds to the State of New South Wales, BE it enacted therefore by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows :— 1 . This Act may be cited as the " General Loan Account Appropriation Act, 1956." 2.
