Objective for 5/6th grade class- 2 minutes ● SWBAT identify poetic devices within a poem and use Textthemob to submit responses by applying the knowledge gained in the mini-lesson through the use of mobile devices. ● Hi class. For the past few days we have been examining literary devices found within text. Today we are going to look at more examples and discuss poetic devices we have learned about as well as some new devices that are found within poetry. 2. Warm-up and Review- 3 minutes ● Review of alliteration and personification (which was introduced on the previous day) ● Go through 2 slides explaining each device with examples 3.
