Lithium carbonate solubility varies between 8-12 gm/L depending on
temperature of the water.
White granular solid or powder, odorless. Eye irritant; no significant hazard in
industrial/commercial applications.

Handling/Storage/Disposal
Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Use with adequate ventilation. Wear
safety glasses or goggles and rubber gloves. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Keep away from strong acids. Keep container closed.
Shipping Containers
Lithium Carbonate, pharmaceutical grade is packaged and shipped in
polyethylene-lined, tamper-proof fiber drums containing 100 kgs (220 lbs) of
product.
Shipping Limitations
Shipments of lithium carbonate require no hazardous shipping labels.
Shipments by post, parcel, air, water, rail, or truck are acceptable within each
carrier's weight limits and packaging requirements.
