1. Each team will be allotted warm up time. Teams will split the field equally. Please be ready to
start warm up immediately at completion of game prior to yours. You will have approximately
30-40 minutes. ALSO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE READY TO START GAME ATLEAST
10 MIN BEFORE SCHEDULED GAME TIME SO WE CAN KEEP GAMES ON TIME.
2. NET BALLS: vHIT BALLS striking the net in FOUL TERRITORY ARE FOUL BALLS. vHIT BALLS striking the net in the AREA DESIGNATED AS INFIELD FAIR TERRITORY (as marked by orange ribbon, in the CEILING NET between 1st & 2B and 2B & 3B.) are considered FOUL BALLS and on a third strike the batter is out. vHIT BALLS striking the ceiling in FAIR TERRITORY BEYOND the infield area are in play and may be caught for an out and runners may advance at their own risk, UNLESS; a. A HIT BALL striking the wall above the red dots in Left and Center fields is a HOME RUN, regardless if it hits net before hitting wall. There is no automatic Home Run to Right or Right Center areas. b. A HIT BALL strikes, on a bounce or in the air, the wall in either field above the darker gray wall. It shall be considered a DOUBLE and all runners awarded two bases, but may attempt to advance more at their own risk of being thrown out.
c. A HIT BALL Strikes the wall in the darker gray block wall area on a bounce or in the air, the batter shall be awarded one base, but may attempt to advance more at their own risk of being thrown out.
3. Teams must have 8 players to start, but will be required to take an out in the 9 spot
4. RUN RULE: Run rules are 10 after 3, 8 after 4, & 6 after 5 once run rule is complete game is
over and teams will leave the field Immediately NO MEETINGS ON FIELD OR IN DUGOUT.
5. TIME LIMIT: ELIMANATION GAMES will be 60 minutes finish the inning (Except
Championship game it is full 7 innings or run rule.) Elimination games will immediately go to tie
breaker at end of time limit. At that time, we will place last two outs on 2nd and 3rd unless they
are a pitcher or catcher until a winner is decided. All scores will be recorded and reported by
both teams after each game to the concession area.
POOL GAMES will be 60 min finish the inning but will drop dead at 75 minutes at completion of live play or until the ball is dead. Only completed full innings will count as
the final score unless the home team is ahead or tied and at bat. IF the Home team ties the score
and does not complete their at bat but would have won by reverting back to the last completed
inning then it will revert back.
6. BATTING ORDER: You may but up to 12 players, and utilize DP/FLEX, IF you drop below the
number of batters you started with you will be required to take a out when their spot comes up
in the order.
COURTESY RUNNERS: A courtesy runner may be used for the pitcher or catcher of record.
A courtesy runner may be any eligible substitute (who has not entered the game) or the last
recorded out. Should the last recorded out be the pitcher or catcher it will then be the next
recorded out not a pitcher or catcher.
7. SEEDING: We will seed teams into brackets based on the results of their first two pool games
played only. You must report scores immediately following game to concession stand area.
Using the following tie breakers:
1) Head to Head (Unless more than two teams are tied)
2) Runs allowed
3) Runs scored
4) Run differential
5) Coin Flip
14. ADMISION: $3 per person except 10 and under will be free as well as all uniformed players.
Coaches will be reimbursed for 3 coaches.
15: CHECK IN: Will be 1 hour before your first scheduled game. We will need a copy of insurance
and a roster, any sanctioning bodies will do. Check in is by concession area.
16. Any rule not specifically covered in this rule sheet will be covered by the NFHS rule book (ex.
if the drop dead time is enforced the completed inning/revert back is covered by the rule book).
17. THE DECISION OF UMPIRE ON FIELD IS FINAL
TOBACCO PRODUCTS, SUNFLOWER AND SEEDS OF ANY KIND, ALCOHOL, DRUGS, FIREARMS and PETS are NOT PERMITTED in
or on the facility property at any time. No team coolers, noise makers, wagons are permitted inside the building. It is the coach’s responsibility to know all game times. Once final
brackets are posted their will be no changes made under any
circumstances.
We reserve the right to alter/change any rule at any time without
advance notice. Should such a change be necessary, you will be
notified A.S.A.P.
