DESCRIPTION
The TIBCO StreamBase® event processing platform is a high-performance system
for rapidly building applications that analyze and act on real-time streaming data.
With StreamBase, organizations can rapidly build real-time systems in record time
and deploy them at a fraction of the cost and risk of alternatives.
TIBCO StreamBase’s platform combines a visual application development
environment, an ultra low-latency, high-throughput event server, and over 150
pre-built connectivity and visualization options for real-time and historical data,
including exchanges and liquidity providers, middleware, and numerous thirdparty applications.

• Human oversight: StreamBase allows applications to be built with as much automation as is necessary
or desired.
• Administrative expertise: StreamBase provides administrative tools to gather statistics and monitor the
performance of applications. Additionally, third party JMX monitoring applications can be used.
