abound - go white-water rafting or canoeing on the Zambezi, take an elephant-back safari, “Walk with
Lions” across the river in Zimbabwe, or take a scenic flight over the impressive falls. Day 5 Kasane/
Chobe River (2B,2L,2D) - The best way to appreciate Botswana’s largest national park and its thousands
of resident elephants, crocodiles, and hippos is on an optional afternoon boat cruise on the Chobe River, or
on a game drive in an open air vehicle. Day 6 Gweta (B,L,D) - Explore Gweta, located near the bizarre salt
pans of Makgadikgadi. You will get a true feeling of the local environment here as you camp under ancient
Baobab trees. Day 7-8 Okavango Delta (2B,2L,2D) - The Okavango Delta excursion is an experience not
to be missed. Based at a bush camp within the world’s largest inland delta, enjoy game walks and
traditional mokorro (dug-out canoe) excursions, marveling at the beautiful surroundings, and the wide
variety of wildlife that calls the delta its home. Day 9 Maun (B,L,D) - Wake up to the African sun rising
over the beauty of the Delta, before returning to the regional capital of Maun by mokoro. Take the optional
flight offering fantastic views high over the Delta, spotting game from above. Day 10 Khama Rhino
Sanctuary (B,L,D) - Visit the Khama Rhino Sanctuary, a community based wildlife project to assist in
saving the endangered Rhino, and restore the area to is previous natural state. Day 11 Depart

Day 2 Gariep River (B,L,D) - Travel north through South Africa and

set up camp at scenic Gariep River. Day 3 Fish River Canyon

(B,L,D) - Journey to Fish River Canyon, the largest canyon in Africa.

and, watch as a spectacular sunset slips over the canyon’s rim. Day
4-5 Namib Desert (2B,2L,2D) - Head towards the incomparable
Sossusvlei, a clay pan enclosed by the world’s largest sand dunes. Spend a full day exploring the dunes.
Day 6-7 Swakopmund (B,L) - We’ll spend two nights in the area, where you can explore this historical
town, and try some of the numerous activities available. Day 8 Damaraland (L,D) - Travel up the
Skeleton Coast to the Cape Cross seal colony for some marine wildlife viewing, then continue through the
beautiful desert landscapes as we begin moving north into Damaraland. Day 9-10 Etosha National
Park (2B,2L,2D) - The Etosha National Park offers a variety of wildlife and phenomenal natural beauty.
Explore the park on game drives, with excellent opportunities to spot “The Big Five”. Day 11 Waterberg
Plateau Game Park (B,L,D) - Enjoy one last morning game drive and then begin moving south to
Waterberg Plateau Game Park. Day 12 Windhoek (B,L) - Journey to historic Windhoek to enjoy a good
shower and a break from camping. Day 13 Kalahari (B,L,D) - Heading east, cross into Botswana and
travel to Ghanzi in the Kalahari Desert region. Take a walk with a local San Bushman to learn fascinating
wilderness survival skills. Day 14 Maun (B,L,D) - Head to Maun to pick up any supplies and prepare for
your unforgettable journey deep into into the “Delta”. Day 15-16 Okavango Delta (2B,2L,2D) - The
