Porches/Ramp Extensions
Ramp for standard manual pallet jacks:

Some special manual pallet jacks and most powered walkies have longer or thicker forks. This
creates a problem when the operator attempts to back up after placing the pallet on the turntable.
When the powered pallet jack starts down the ramp incline it tilts the front of the forks up so that
the forks get stuck in the pallet.

The solution is to add more flat surface to the ramp so that the forks are clear of the pallet before
starting down the ramp incline.

Some material handling equipment with very long forks may require a 40” Porch or Ramp Extension:

IMIIMPORTANT: We recommend a 24” or 40” Porch for all powered pallet jacks (walkies).
NOTE: If a problem is discovered after installation or the customer changes material handling
equipment, both Porch/Ramp Extension options can be retro-fitted to a machine on site.
