decorativemarkingsonbothsides.
• Thebullamayhavebeenwornasaneckpendentwithastringputthroughaninternal,
cylindricalopeningrunningacrossthetop.
Decoration
• Theupperareaofthefrontandbackofthebullaarelinkedbydecorativerowsof
obliqueandparallellinesandhatchedtriangles.
• Thefrontdecorationhasaseriesofrepeatedconcentriccirclesandtriangles
formedwithobliquelines,puncheddotsandanlargecentralu-shapedmotifwhich
couldrepresentafertilitysymbol.
• Thedecorationonthebackisabstractandgeometric;parallellinesare
creativelyorderedinobliquetriangularshapesofverticalandhorizontallines.

• Theheartshapecoreismadefrommetalandiscoveredwiththin,
goldfoilwhich givestheillusionofasolidgoldobject.
