Dear IMS Parents:
We love having your child as a student at Iowa Mennonite School and I hope you choose to return for the
2016-17 school year! I hope that Iowa Mennonite School’s academic and enrichment programs are more than
meeting your expectations this year and that you share our vision of a Christ-centered school community. As
we look ahead to next year’s enrollment numbers, it is important that we know who intends to return so we can
plan appropriate class loads for our teachers as well as scheduled events for next year. As students are
looking forward to spring activities, I am working with our administrators to plan for the 2016-17 school year.
Your prompt reply to this message enables us to serve your student’s best interest by offering appropriate
staffing and curriculum development.
Intent to Return
Last year was the first year we used Intent to Return forms. There was some confusion over why we were
doing this. We started doing this simply because we want to be more purposeful in our planning for your
students. An accurate enrollment estimate dictates the type of classes and programs we offer each year. We
want to ensure that your child has a full array of options next year. Please fill out the following form to reserve
your child’s spot for next year!
You only need to fill out the form for your students currently in 9th -11th grade. You can either fill out the form
online or print the form, fill it out and return it to school. Please complete your Intent to Return by February
20th.
