In the hope of providing an experience that
is enriching and educational as well as
enjoyable, we would like you to join us on
Tuesday the 15th of July at 2pm for our
Year 6 production!
We can hear you singing it already:
“I close my eyes, drew back the curtain,
To see for certain what I thought I knew.....
Yes of course, it’s those unforgettable lines
from the truly monumental and memorable
Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat, the Andrew Lloyd Webber and
Tim Rice all-time family favourite.
The year 6 cast have been working flat out
over the last few weeks with rehearsals
each Tuesday and Friday with Matt and the
year 6 staff, and individual and groups also
practicing at other times.
This promises to be a truly memorable
occasion at Fulham Primary and we invite all
our parents to support the children who are
working so hard. We look forward to seeing
you all at 2pm on Tuesday the 15th of July.
Please book a ticket from the school office.
There is no charge.
time. Claire has
worked in FPS
for 18 years
where she began
her journey as a
newly qualified
teacher in 1996
in Reception.
The time has come where we have to
say some very sad goodbyes to some
very long standing staff at FPS.
Yvonne
Words that
spring to mind
when anyone
thinks of Yvonne
are happy, calm,
welcoming,
beautiful,
reassuring,
polite and loyal.
She has the
time for anyone,
anywhere,
anyhow! After
dedicating 32 years to Fulham Primary School,
Yvonne has reluctantly made the decion to
retire (she has been discussing it for the past 3
years). She has been the face of Fulham for
many years in our school office, but began her
career as a Teaching Assistant in Nursery.
This was followed by Reception with Ms Bully
for many years. She won Admin Assistant of
the year in 2010 and she will be remembered
with great admiration by all of us. Enjoy your
retirement Yvonne and thank you for making
Fulham Primary the successful school it is
today.
We will miss her
willingness to
make a
difference in
everything she puts her hand to at school.
Claire has gone over and above to support all
of our families at Fulham Primary School and
she is going to be missed immensely. She is
going to be the most amazing Headteacher
and I’m sure you will all join me in wishing her
the best of luck.
Mrs Pitt
Mr Hopper has been at Fulham Primary School
for the past 8 years. He started as a student
teacher on his final placement and he leaves
us this term as a wonderful teacher, dedicated
PE Manager and great friend to everyone.
During his time here he has shown incredible
dedication to the school and puts the children
at the heart of everything he does. We will miss
you Mr Hopper!
Congratulations to Mrs Pitt who has been
promoted to Headteacher of The Russell
School in Chorleywood.
I have worked with Claire at Fulham Primary
School for the last four and a half years in her
role as Deputy Head and she has been the
most wonderful colleague and friend over this
Mr Hopper
Congratulations to
Mr Hopper who will
be moving to
Southfield Primary
School teaching
year 5 or 6. The
school is a 5 minute
walk from his house
and I’m sure this will
give him a much
better work/life
balance by cutting
out the travelling time to his day.
Justine
Another big
congratulations to
Justine who will be
fulfilling her
ambitions of working
as a Reception class
teacher from
September at
Downsview Primary
School. She has
worked in our school
for 3 years and has
shown the ability to motivate the children she
works with to do their very best. She is calm,
patient and a valued member of staff. Justine is
always positive, thoughtful and considerate.
She is a happy and very supportive member of
staff who is willing to help out with anything
that is asked of her. Good luck and we will
miss you.
