What are your money goals for 2017?
One of the most popular resolutions people make is about money. People either want to earn more or spend less so
they have more money in the bank to do things throughout the year, like go on vacation or buy something special.
Have you thought about the things you want to buy in 2017? We can help! Fill out the form below and find out how
much money you need to save each month.

Divide how much it costs by 12 = _________________.

This simple calculation tells you how much you need to save
every month in order to buy the item you want by the end of
the year! Or, if you want to buy the item sooner, divide how
much it costs by how many months you have to save
(ex: if you have 6 months to save, divide the cost by 6).

Divide how much it costs by 12 = __________________.

In this example, you would need to save $30 every month
in order to buy the Chromebook by the end of the year.
job Interview Tips
What’s the #1 way to earn money? You guessed it, getting a job! If you’re looking for a first - or new - job this year,
here are some tips that can help you with the interview:
• Beontime. One of the worst things you can do is be late to an interview. You want the interviewer to know you
are reliable and being on time is a great way to do that.
• Dressappropriately. Think about how people dress for the job you’re applying for and dress in the same way.
This lets the interviewer picture you as part of the company.
• Askquestions.This shows your enthusiasm for the position or company. Ask things like, “How long have you
worked here?” or “What do you like best about your job?” rather than about salary or benefits.
• Makeeyecontact.When asked a question, try not to look at the table or ceiling. If making eye contact is
difficult for you (as it is for many), try looking at the person’s nose instead.
• Writeathankyounoteoremail. Make sure to thank the interviewer for their time and tell them why you’re
excited about the job. Also be sure to send the note as soon as possible after the interview.

HUMAN SNOWBLOWER TABLE GAME
Looking for some indoor fun? Gather your family or get some friends together and race against time to be the
first one to “snowblow” your ball to the finish line!
ItemsNeeded: Large paper cups, table, tape, ping-pong balls and paper towel tubes
HowtoPlay:
1. Hang the paper cups off one side of a table with tape so that the cup openings are level with the table’s
surface (so it forms a basket for the ball to fall into).
2. Give the first two players paper towel tubes and place a ping-pong ball in front of each of them. each player
must blow through the tubes to push their ball across the table and into the paper cup.
3. each contestant has 10 seconds to get their ball into the cup, but if the ball goes over the edge they must start
over from the beginning.
To win, you could put candy or small prizes into the paper cups for only the person who gets the ball into the cup.
Or, assign point values for getting the ball into the cup within 5 seconds, 10 seconds, etc.
