New on the Shelves
"New on the Shelves" is a list of recent additions to the library collections of
the State Historical Society of Iowa. Most of these books are not appropriate
subjects for scholarly review, but researchers in Iowa history do need to know
that these books are available. The "DM' or ' I C at the end of each entry
denotes whether the item is held in Des Moines or Iowa City.
