dancing has always been an integral part of Marisa’s life, and her desire to learn
Tango led her to jump on a plane from Zanzibar to Argentina and, after meeting and
teaming up with expert Maestro Carlos Forte-Berg, they decided to offer Tango
Training, along with the perfectly complimentary Yoga training, in one of the
world’s most beautiful destinations, Zanzibar! Together they first and foremost
teach "tango salón" just like it’s danced in Buenos Aires, the birthplace of Tango.
Balance, technique, feeling, musicality and blending two bodies into one to create a
unified expression, is what makes up their daily training, all following the tried
and tested unique teaching system, developed with great expertise, dedication and
professionalism by Carlos Forte-Berg more than 20 years ago, in order to pass on the
essence of the Argentine Tango in the most effective and successful way!

Zanzibar Island Excursions
WEDNESDAY 26th July 2017-
On this day you will go to an excursion
to the spice and fruit plantations close
to Stone Town for the famous Spice Tour.
We have developed a special Spice Tour
with in depth information about spices
and organically grown herbs and their
traditional uses in medicine, cosmetics
and cooking. After the tour we will take
you for an opulent lunch at our spice
restaurant where you will taste the
spices. After lunch we will visit the
Jozani forest, the last habitat of the
rare endemic Red Colobus Monkey. With a
local guy guide we will stroll through Jozani Chwaka National Park and look at the
rare species. If you wish you can ever wander around the boardwalk to the
fascinating Mangrove Ecosystem.
THURSDAY 27th July 2017:
Situated on the southern point of the island, Kizimkazi fishing village is home to
several schools of bottle-nosed dolphins and Humpback dolphins, which can often be
sighted following a short boat trip from the village. If you are lucky, you may be
able to swim quite close to the dolphins, which can be a very rewarding experience.
On the way back to the hotel we will stop in Stone Town.
FRIDAY 28th July 2017:
This day is packed with adventure. Menai Bay is scattered with isolated sand banks,
rugged island scenery, uninhabited islets, pristine marine life and crystal-clear
turquoise water. Enjoy the relaxing and swimming with tantalizing seafood lunch.
COST:
Each excursion above includes all transport, fees and lunch, and costs depend on
group (the more joining, the lower the cost) approximately 70-80$ per person.
