Estimé & USACE Send Relief to
Haiti
On Tuesday, January 12, 2010 an earthquake of
7.0 magnitude shook the city of Port-au-Prince
in Haiti, affecting millions and leaving
thousands of dollars in repair cost. The
powerful earthquake struck shortly before 5
p.m. and was felt as far as eastern Cuba, more
than 200 miles away. The quake ripped apart
buildings, shearing huge slabs of concrete off
structures and several buildings that remained
standing were left open to the elements.
Estimé Inc., along with the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers (USACE), the State Dept., USAID,
Federal Emergency Management Agency
(FEMA) and US Southern Command
(USSOUTHCOM), are all ready to assist the
victims in Haiti.
