2016 Holiday Bazaar and Bake Sale

THE SUCCESS OF THE BAZAAR is depending on you! There are a number of ways we need parishioner involvement. Your donation of buckeye ingredients, baked goods and time before, during and after the bazaar is
needed and greatly appreciated. See below for ways that you can help.
BUCKEYE INGREDIENTS NEEDED—We are getting ready to
make buckeyes to sell at the bazaar and are asking for donations of Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips, Jif or Skippy
creamy peanut butter (not low fat), and confectioner’s
sugar. Please place donations in the bin in the parlor labeled “Buckeyes” before November 7. If you prefer to
donate money to buy other perishables (butter), please
write a check payable to St. Andrew Women’s Club with
Buckeyes in the memo line and place in the collection basket or drop off at the parish office.
YUMMY TREATS NEEDED FOR THE BAKE SALE—The bake
sale at the Bazaar is always a huge hit! Pies, especially
Pumpkin and Apple seem to go quickly. In addition to
pies, we would appreciate all homemade treats including
breads, cakes, candies, and cookies. Please bring baked
goods to Nugent Parish Hall on Friday, November 11 until
6:00 p.m. or at 8:00 a.m. the day of the bazaar. Items
may be left in the parish hall kitchen or on a table near
the kitchen door. Please mark any items that may contain
nuts. Contact Consolata Elisco at 614-406-8660 or
[email protected] with questions.
MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK!
BUCKEYE ROLLERS NEEDED—on November 8 from 9:00 a.m. until all buckeyes are made! An hour or two or more of
your time would be greatly appreciated. Contact Barb Zimmerman at 614-457-6733 or [email protected] if you can help.
SET UP AND CLEAN UP—Assistance is needed on November 11 between 4:00—8:00 p.m. to greet and help bazaar
vendors to their assigned spaces in the Parish Hall. Help is also needed on November 12 from 3:00—4:00 p.m. for
clean up after the bazaar. Students—if you are looking for a service project or hours, this is an excellent way to help
out the parish! To volunteer contact Marilyn at 614-315-7320 or [email protected] or Meg at or 614-582-3782
[email protected].
BAKE SALE & RAFFLE TICKET SALE—Volunteers will also be needed during the bazaar from 8:30 a.m.—3:00 p.m.at
the bake sale and raffle ticket table. Two shifts are available. For these (adults only) positions contact Barb at
614-457-6733 or [email protected].
