The BMW Preparation Charter includes:
Full vehicle preparation.
Every BMW Premium Selection Approved Used Car is prepared to the highest standards by skilled BMW
technicians. Each car undergoes a rigorous 124 point BMW Premium Selection Check procedure including a
full road test, after which any mechanical faults are rectified using genuine BMW parts. As a result, all factory
fitted equipment is in full working order and every tyre has a minimum tread depth of 3mm. Paintwork and trim
are restored to a standard appropriate to the vehicle’s age and mileage, and your car receives a full valet prior
to delivery.
Servicing policy.
To qualify as a BMW Premium Selection Approved Used Car, your car will have been maintained in strict
adherence to BMW servicing requirements. In addition, any BMW car with a service due within 6,000 km/4,000
miles or displaying less than three service interval lights will have had the appropriate service carried out prior to
delivery. The only exception is where the vehicle has the benefit of a service package where the requirement
is reduced to 1,500 km/1,000 miles or one service interval light.
NCT Guarantee.
Every BMW Premium Selection Approved Used Car features the NCT Guarantee, which can provide protection
from unexpected costs arising from the NCT Test.
Independent vehicle history check.*
A vehicle history check is carried out on every BMW Premium Selection Approved Used Car to ensure that the
car has not been stolen or written-off, and is not subject to any outstanding finance agreement. A certificate
confirming that these checks have been made is supplied with each vehicle.
Independent vehicle odometer check.*
Every BMW Premium Selection Approved Used Car undergoes an odometer check and you will receive written
proof that the vehicle’s kilometres/mileage is correct.

The BMW Premium Selection Warranty even guarantees the battery and exhaust system for 12 months.
This feature has been developed to address specific issues raised by used car buyers and reflect our
commitment to deliver total customer confidence. In fact, the BMW Premium Selection Warranty is so
comprehensive, there are only a few items it does not cover, such as brake discs and pads as well as any
parts requiring repair or replacement due to normal wear and tear or age. Full details can be obtained from

NCT Guarantee.
If an NCT test is required within 6 months/10,000kms from the date of your car order then your BMW
NCT Guarantee will cover you against the unexpected costs of any necessary repair or replacement
of specified components.
BMW Emergency Service.
BMW Emergency Service has been designed to provide 24 hour assistance for motoring emergencies in the
Republic of Ireland, the UK and Continental Europe. It is highly unlikely that your BMW Premium Selection
Approved Used Car will break down, but you can be confident that BMW Emergency Service will look after you,
