Making the Grade was the largest school library study ever completed which focused on
student achievement and school grades. There
were 1715 schools studied.
Those items with a check mark indicate
where your school makes the grade.

Special events:
Participated in Florida Literacy Week with local author
interviews on ITV, and school reading activities.
Community Outreach:
Book Drive-Joined NHS with Bookbridge.org to help
build a teaching library in Mongolia
Participation in inter library loans through Destiny.
Classroom support:
Online classroom curriculum support with booklists on
Destiny Website.
Teacher/student book reviews on ITV.
Daily news program, with ITV rotating schedule, to
allow more opportunities for student participation.
Flexible scheduling for maximum access.
Fundraising:
Scholastic Book Fair raised funds for the purchase of
two new Dell laptops.
Coordinated school funding to receive free book for
every student from Book Fair.
