PI Day March 22, 2013 KMT #10 #32 Mallory Hataishi What is PI day?? Pi day is on 3/14. Each of the core classes incorporates PI into a lesson. For Science we did a PI cutting lab and filled out a paper for social studies. We wrote a short essay for English, one paragraph is Persuasive, the other is Informative, and the final one is Entertain. In math we made PI bracelets and had to memorize PI. Not only did we learn about the math PI, but we also got to eat the pie that the students provided! There were so many different types of pie, and it was delicious! If you were in the top 20 people that memorized most of pi, you would get pie a la mode. If you were in the top 10 you would also get a pizza party at the end of the week! Overall, PI day was really fun! I memorized about 40 numbers of PI and got a slice as well! Mallory Hataishi Wednesday, April 10, 2013 7:20:38 PM.
