Hands form a diamond or triangle grip, hands are in front of body, reach
toward the ball with hands, Give with the ball as the ball makes contact
(fingers up if ball is above waist/ fingers down if ball is below waist), tucks
ball in close to their body if caught

2. place opposite foot on floor with leg bent up
3. place hand over top of other hand
4. reach with hands as far as possible while keeping
knee locked
5. perform three times and hold the last stretch.

1.lie on stomach
2. places hands underneath hips
3. raises upper-body (waist and above) up while
keeping head in neutral position
4. feet maintains contact with floor
5. holds for 3 seconds

2. keep back straight
3. goes down until arms form 90 degree angle
with floor
4. performs push up to a cadence

Heart Rate Cues
1. Demonstrate proper hand placement when finding pulse. Check with two fingers on carotid
artery (neck) or radial artery (wrist)

Explain that heart rate is the number of beats per minute
3.
Demonstrates how to calculate heart rate. Count beats for 6 seconds and multiply by 10
4. Explains how the intensity levels can affect the heart rate.
5. Explains and shows how different exercises can affect the heart rate.
