PRESS RELEASE PARIS, THE 27TH OF JANUARY 2017 SNCF MOBILITES LAUNCHED A SUCCESSFUL EUR 1 BILLION 12-YEAR BENCHMARK The French transport services company SNCF Mobilités (rated Aa3/AA-/AA, all stable), totally owned by the French Republic with an EPIC status, launched a new 12-year benchmark bond for a total amount of EUR 1 billion. This bond issue represents SNCF Mobilités first benchmark since 2011 and allows the issuer to advance significantly in its funding program. After a successful presentation in Paris and a global investor call for international investors, SNCF Mobilités decided to announce the launch of a new 12-year benchmark, with HSBC, Natixis and Societe Generale CIB as joint lead managers, on the afternoon of Wednesday the 24th January. The initial pricing thought was fixed at interpolated OATs (FRTR 11/26 & FRTR 05/30) +35bp area. Books opened in the morning of the following day. The size and the quality of the order book allowed SNCF Mobilités to launch a transaction with a benchmark size of EUR 1 billion at a spread of 35bp over the interpolated OATs curve. The new issue offered a coupon of 1.5%, had a reoffer price of 99.586% corresponding to a reoffer yield of 1.538%. Mainly supported by domestic investors (77%), SNCF Mobilités new benchmark attracted also European institutional accounts, notably from Germany/Austria (7%) and Nordics /UK (6%). In terms of investors type, the lion’s share was allocated to Asset Managers (42%) and Insurance/ Pensions Fund (24%), followed by Banks/ Private Banks (18%) and Central Banks/ Official Institutions (16%).
