Cupcake Decorating Workshop
Charm City Cupcakes is a Baltimore, Maryland bakery and cupcake boutique offering
breathtaking pieces of dessert, and they are the
Official Cupcake of the NFL Baltimore Ravens! The pastry chefs at Charm City Cupcakes
hone apprentices’ abilities to artistically adorn
baked goods through fun-filled workshops that
borrow directly from Charm City’s cupcake
classes.
During the Cupcake Decorating 101 workshop, students learn to create frostings as well
as proper piping and filling techniques. They
slather prebaked chocolate and vanilla cupcakes
with mouthwatering buttercream icing, creating
cupcake borders and icing flowers and allowing
tiny cakes to stylishly comply with standard “no
shirt, no service” policies.
Alternatively, the Mommy/Daddy & Me
workshop facilitates quality time between parent and child as they take sweet-toothed cues
from a friendly instructor. With prebaked cupcakes in hand, participants learn to create kidfriendly shapes and tasty floral arrangements.
The Girls’ Night Out evening workshop features a wine-tasting session from popular Northwest wineries, sponsored by Odom Northwest
Beverages!
Afterwards, embellishment laureates in the
workshops can take home their finished products to complement dinner or display in edible
picture frames on the living-room wall!

Inn-Best Western PLUS. Choose from
the following options:
$45: Cupcake Decorating 101
workshop from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30
p.m., including a decorating kit (a $90
total value).
$60: Mommy/Daddy & Me cupcake-decorating workshop from 2:00
p.m. to 3:30 p.m., including a decorating kit (a $120 total value). Bring a
child age 6 to 12.
$50: Girls’ Night Out Cupcake
Decorating 101 workshop from 5:30
p.m. to 7:00 p.m., including a decorating kit (a $100 total value). This last
workshop includes a pre-event wine
tasting session sponsored by Odom
Northwest Beverages.
