Daily Camp Tips & Reminders
This week at Little Lincoln’s we experienced all different
types of weather, but we still managed to have lots of fun. Our
theme this week was Space! The activities that went along
with this theme included making their own planets, slime, and
a space mural! At the start of the week, we thought it would
be a great idea to have water games at the park to cool
ourselves down! The water games included hose limbo, drip
drip drop, and an impromptu water slide. Other kids who did
not want to get wet had a friendly sand castle contest, where
everyone was the winner! Wednesday was the first day of
lessons! All the campers were all excited to get out their
rackets and swim suits! After the storm in the early afternoon,
we all took a bus to the community center to play some
games, including Freeze Dance. We had our second on site
field trip with Mystery Shop and then campers used their
imagination to be transported to outer space to help find our
missing Moon! Friday we had our second awards ceremony,
which all of the campers have been asking for all week long.
We also ended the week with ice cream and some great
games!

Be sure to send your camper with
a non-refrigerated lunch, a water
bottle, and SPRAY sunscreen!


Our Theme for next week is…Animals!
We will talk about different types of animals, and the
importance of keeping them safe. All week we will play
games centered around animals including 'Bear, Mosquito,
Salem' and 'Poison Frog' to name a few. Wednesday will be
our first off-site field trip to Lincoln Park Zoo! Our
campers will be with their assigned counselor for the day!
Please make sure they bring a packed lunch! On our down
time, we will have many arts and crafts revolved around
an animal, including making animals out of paper plates.
We also will do another mural with all types of animals to
go with our space mural from week 2!
