EYFS and KS1 Activities We offer four types of educational activity at primary level: Guided tours: Last for 1 hour and cover approx one third-half of the zoo. Outdoor only. Please see below for topics. Workshops: Sessions usually last 45 minutes. Indoor only. Please see over for topics. All of our workshops include live animal(s) unless stated otherwise. Meet a Creature: A 30-minute session will usually include 3 species. Please note that we cannot guarantee specific animals due to feeding regimes, seasonal behaviour, snakes shedding etc. Self led: See over for more information. Living things and their habitats African Animals A tour of some of our most popular and well known species. May include rhino, hippo, lions and giraffes! African Rangers Use detective skills to identify six African animals from a range of clues provided. Which team will be the most successful rangers?
