Monkton Minis
4— 8 years- £33.00 per day

Half days are available which start and finish at 1.15pm.
Monkton Minis is back with more FUN, games and activities. Based at our Monkton Pre Prep School site, our experienced leaders can offer a great range of
games and arts activities in an engaging, safe and
secure environment.
During our first week our theme will be based around ‘Easter’ with lots of fun
arts and crafts. We also plan to bring along some baby chicks from a local organic
farm, for the children see and handle if they wish, they will be just a few days
old, very cute and cuddly!
Our second week we will looking at Dinosaurs, making salt dough footprints,
bubble print dino’s , as well as taking the children on a dinosaur hunt to see just
how many varieties we can find.
Monkton Minis is not just a great place to interact and make new friends, but is also
a fantastic learning environment.
Each day the Minis can enjoy an exclusive swim in our heated indoor swimming
pool with toys, floats and woggles.
This is an extremely popular play scheme so please book early to avoid any disappointment!
Monkton Muckers
8—14 years- £33.00 per day

Earliest drop off is 8.30am, Pick Up before 5.45pm
Our Monkton Muckers leaders know that the key to running a
successful holiday camp for the children is entertainment, enthusiasm and lots of
variety! Each day is a fun filled programme where the children can enjoy
activities such as drama, sports, creative arts and crafts,
plus some pool based activities. We swim every day in our 25metre pool often
utilising Monkton’s own Wibit sports inflatable obstacle course.
Monkton Muckers enjoy lots of different games sessions and
often have the choice to split into smaller groups for activities such as dodge-ball,
football, tennis, uni hoc, fashion shows, jewellery making, treasure hunts, water
polo and art sessions; just to name a few! Choice is important for the children in
our programme, our leaders design the sessions around the children’s interests and
abilities, with emphasis placed on promoting self confidence and self expression, &
we always include a large helping of fun!

Join Shrek, our unlikely Ogre hero and his loyal
Donkey with his host of fairytale
characters as they embark on their quest to rescue
princess Fiona from a fire-breathing dragon!
Together with a professional director, we will work
on extracts from the script, songs and dances and
present our very own mini-version for family and
friends in the full equipped theatre on our last day.

Intensive Swimming Lessons
Easter Holidays April 2016
Over the Easter Holiday we will be running our Intensive Lessons over 4
Days in April. Classes will range from Ducklings Beginners through to Stage 5, as well
as a diving course that will be suitable for divers of all abilities.
Our Intensive Private Lessons are also available as an alternative to group lessons.
There will be a booking discount of 10% available when three or more private lessons are booked at once.
The Intensive Swimming lessons will run in accordance with the Amateur Swimming
Association’s (ASA) National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS) .
Spaces are limited, and pre booking is essential. The classes will only run if minimum numbers are achieved the week before the course begins.

Terms and Conditions
Bookings and Payment
Credit and Debit card bookings can be made by telephone on 01225 721206. Joining instructions for all activities will be issued only
on receipt of payment. Places will not be held without payment. Procedures are available on request with regard to Monkton Leisure’s policy for dealing with complaints, behaviour
management and equal opportunities. Whilst every effort is made to avoid
changes to the programme, Monkton Leisure reserves the right to withdraw or amend any part of the programme without prior
notice.
Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation 2 weeks notice must be given and a £10 administration charge will be deducted. 50% of the fees will be
refunded if a booking is cancelled between 2 weeks and 48 hours at which point the full fee will be forfeited. If the School requires a
child to leave for reasons of conduct, the parent/guardian will remain liable for the whole amount of the fee.
Late Collection
A charge will be made for staff overtime and transportation costs that are incurred by the School as a result. Up to 15 minutes will
incur an additional cost of £5. For every additional quarter of an hour £5 will be charged.
Illnesses and Medication
If a child becomes ill during the day, staff will inform parents or an emergency contact to enable the child to be collected immediately. Any child who is ill, or has suffered from sickness or diarrhoea in the previous 24 hours must not attend the Holiday Activity
Courses. Please declare any medical condition that may affect your child’s participation in any of the activities. We regret that staff
cannot take responsibility for the administration of any medicines but in an emergency will administer the appropriate treatment
provided we have been informed. By signing the Terms and Conditions you are agreeing to this treatment unless written objection is
received notifying Monkton Leisure & Hospitality to the contrary.
Special Arrangements
As a provider of childcare our first concern is always the welfare of your child and should we have any concerns we will contact
you. In the case of an emergency, which may include child protection; we will refer to the appropriate authority. Only the named
person will be able to collect your child, unless prior notification has been given.
Booking Notes
There is a strict age range for all activities. Children should wear comfortable clothes, trainers and bring a packed lunch if staying for
the whole day. There are machines dispensing cold drinks and snacks. A member of staff will supervise the children at lunchtime.
Photography
Please note that we occasionally take photographs of children during Holiday Activity Courses which may be used in future brochures and promotional material. If you wish your child to be exempt from photographs please call the office on 01225 721114 and
we will ensure that your wishes are adhered to.
Children with Special Needs
We would very much appreciate if parents of children with special needs could contact Monkton Leisure’s office so we can discuss
how best we can accommodate the child and which (if any) special arrangements can and need to be put into place.
Valuables
We ask that valuable items are left at home e.g. ipods , smart phones etc. Monkton Leisure cannot be held responsible for any items
of value that are brought onto the premises.
