Oh Great God, there’s nothing you can’t do.
Oh Great God, you speak and mountains move.
We believe. We believe.
Oh Great God, there’s none outside your reach.
Oh Great God, give us faith to see and believe. We believe.
*DOXOLOGY AND PRAYER OF DEDICATION
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise him, all creatures here below;
Praise him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
*SCRIPTURE Ruth 1:1-18
Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
Now I will not forget your love for me, and yet my heart forever is wandering.
Jesus, be my guide and hold me to your side, and I will love you to the end.
Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
Refrain: With you, all things are possible.
It’s true that you are unstoppable.
Your light will never fade; your promises remain unchanged.
You will reign. (Repeat All)

My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly trust in Jesus’ name. (Refrain 2)
*AFFIRMATION SONG
The splendor of a king, clothed in majesty;
let all the earth rejoice, all the earth rejoice.
He wraps Himself in light, and darkness tries to hide
and trembles at His voice, trembles at his voice.
When darkness seeks to hide His face, I rest on His unchanging grace.
In ev’ry high and stormy gale, my anchor holds within the veil. (Refrain 2)
Mark Christian
*RESPONSE

*INVOCATION
Let us worship in sincerity and truth. Let us pray.
Living and faithful Spirit, the God in whom we live and move and have our
being, the God who is made known in Christ Jesus, bless us one and all as
we wait on you this day. Please remove from our minds and hearts whatever
hinders our worship or dampens our joy. May our hymns and prayers, our
searching thoughts, and our hearing of the Scriptures, open our lives to fuller
delight and to a deeper commitment. In the name of Christ Jesus. Amen!
Sanctuary Flowers. The flowers that grace our sanctuary this morning
are given by Jim and Betty Allbright in celebration of their 42nd wedding
anniversary on July 1.

*CALL TO WORSHIP
Unless our worship is genuine, it is a waste of time.
Out of the depths we cry to, you, O God, Lord hear our voices.
Remember the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, who though he was rich, for our
sakes became poor, so that through his poverty we might become rich.
Let God’s people put all their hope in the Lord. For with God there is faithful
love, and in the Lord is plenteous redemption.
ANTHEM

*AFFIRMATION OF FAITH
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord:
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried,
the third day he rose from the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead,
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
