HOLY FAMILY…Joseph’s obedience to God was not a
one-time thing. His attention to the angel’s warning kept
Jesus from being murdered by Herod and led to the
fulfillment of the prophecy that the Messiah would be a
Nazarene. Fidelity to God’s will assures the best use of
my talents, too!

DIA DE AÑO NUEVO…La segunda lectura de hoy
nos recuerda que a través de Cristo hemos sido
entregados por ley y transformados en hijos e hijas de
Dios. El Día de Año Nuevo proporciona una
oportunidad perfecta para preguntarnos a nosotros
mismos: ¿Refleja mi vida mi gratitud por todo lo que
mí amado Padre me ha dado?
NEW YEAR’S DAY…Today’s second reading
reminds us that through Christ we have been delivered
from the old law and have become sons and daughters
of God. New Year’s Day provides a perfect opportunity
to ask ourselves the question: Does my life reflect my
gratitude for all that my loving Father has given me?
