Deloitte
Chris Lu has been elected chief
executive officer of Deloitte China,
succeeding Peter Bowie, who is now
senior partner in China. Lu has over 27
years of international and Greater China
experience. He has worked in Deloitte
offices in the U.S. and Taiwan before he
transferred to China in 1994.
Joseph Lo has been elected chairman
of Deloitte China, succeeding Kenneth
McKelvie, whose term ended in
May. Lo joined Deloitte in 1980 and
was made partner in 1988. Lo was
the leader of the reorganization and
forensic practices and co-leader of the
financial advisory practice.
Chris Lam has been appointed
audit partner in Hong Kong. She is
experienced in providing statutory and
special audits for listed companies,
as well as pre-IPO audits preparing
companies for listing in Hong Kong and
Singapore.
Haemon Tsang has been appointed
audit partner in Hong Kong, specializing
in advisory and assurance services,
IPOs in Hong Kong and the U.S.,
and mergers and acquisitions for
companies in the media, energy and
resources, manufacturing and property
development sectors.
Sandra Tse has been appointed
audit partner in Hong Kong, focusing
on audits and special audits for listed
companies in Hong Kong. Her clients
cover a wide range of industries,
including construction, manufacturing
and telecommunications.

Denken Meng has been appointed
Hong Kong consulting partner. He is
experienced in process modelling,
systems analysis, and application
development for restructuring Chinese
state-owned enterprises.
Karon Wan has been appointed
consulting partner in Hong Kong,

process re-engineering. He leads

Guy Norman has been appointed

Stanley Lah has been appointed
partner in M&A transaction services
in Hong Kong. He has a wealth of

due diligence, financial structuring and
related transaction support services.
Adrian Tan has been appointed
audit principal in Hong Kong. He has
extensive experience auditing private
and public companies, multinationals
and their overseas subsidiaries in
industries such as real estate and
property development, construction,
manufacturing, retail and financial services.

principal in Hong Kong. She provides
audit and assurance services to listed
companies and is involved in initial
public offerings. Her clients range from
manufacturing, consumer products and
aviation to property investment
and development in Hong Kong and the mainland.
Judy Tong has been appointed
audit principal in Hong Kong. She is
experienced in audit and IPO services
for insurance and securities enterprises
and is involved in training programmes
for staff and clients on topics related to
securities and insurance.
Polly Lee has been appointed audit
principal in Hong Kong. She has
extensive experience in audit, IPO
and M&A with listed and multinational
companies as well as state-owned
enterprises engaged in real estate,
telecommunications, manufacturing,
and the leisure and hotel business.
Shirley Woo has been named
audit principal in Hong Kong. She
specializes in IPOs, assurance and
advisory services for companies in
manufacturing, property investment and
consumer product distribution in Hong
Kong and the mainland.
Teresa Sit has been appointed audit
principal in Hong Kong, specializing in
audit and assurance advisory services
to listed companies in Hong Kong and

Akihiro Matsuyama has been
appointed Hong Kong principal in
enterprise risk services. He has

Charles Ellis has been appointed

Hong Kong. He focuses on corporate

Cedric Vandenabeele has been
appointed Hong Kong principal in

Oliver Farnworth has been appointed
tax principal in Hong Kong, specializing

investment in Asia-Pacific. He has advised
fund managers and investors on crossborder investment structures and issues

Connie Kwok has been appointed
international tax services partner in
Hong Kong. She specializes in providing
tax advisory services to multinational

Joseph Quiazon has been appointed
partner of fraud investigation and dispute
services in Hong Kong. He has over 20
years of consulting and law enforcement
experience, is a certified fraud
examiner and a fellow of the Institute of
Compliance Officers in Hong Kong.
Ken Chung has been appointed
transaction tax partner in Hong Kong.
He has over 12 years of experience
in China tax in financial services and
other industries. He has been involved

Leo Chan has been appointed

services partner in Hong Kong. He
has more than 14 years of experience

Yin Toa Lee has been appointed

He will be responsible for the financial

Patrick Cheung has been appointed

Kong and south China. He has over 10
years of experience in international tax

practice unit. With over 15 years of

requirements.
KPMG
John B. Harrison has been named
deputy chairman, KPMG International.
He will continue to serve as chairman
of Asia Pacific region and co-chairman
of KPMG China and Hong Kong until
March 2009, when his term for both
positions expires, and will be succeeded
by Carlson Tong. Harrison is a member of the Institute
and a fellow of ICAEW.
Elie Lai has been appointed audit
principal in China. She has extensive
experience in assurance, transaction
and advisory services to financial
institutions. She is also familiar with the
retail, corporate and investment banking
sectors.
Tommy Siu has been named audit
principal in China. He has assisted a
number of Chinese enterprises in raising
funds from China, Hong Kong and
Singapore. He is experienced in serving

the mainland.
