AM I FREE TO CHOOSE MY GOD?
Young people have been rioting in the streets of
some of our big cities. University students are violently
protesting the recent presidential election, and there is
suspicion that some of them are being paid to do this.
It is reported that these young people are mostly the
generation known as the millennials—college age and
into the twenties. Regardless of the political issues that
cause such alarming reactions one way or the other, we
need to ask, what is the real foundation of such behavior? Why is the reaction to this election so violent and
emotional?
What we are observing is anger and aggressiveness
toward any authority that might threaten the freedoms
these young people think they have the right to express. If we know what is happening in universities
across America, we should have expected to see what is
happening. I and many others predicted it. What are
the freedoms these millennials are afraid of losing?
There is a list given in Galatians 5:19-21, and sadly
some of the things mentioned fit quite well:
“Now the works of the flesh are evident,
which are adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred,
contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath,
selfish ambitions, dissentions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the
like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I
also told you in time past, that those who
practice such things will not inherit the
kingdom of God.”
Yes, they are afraid of losing the freedom to sin and
decide for themselves how they want to live without
anyone imposing restrictions on them. In other words,
they want to be their own gods. They want to keep the
sins of abortion, sexual perversions, drunkenness and
idolatry without any interference. This is the kind of
twisted philosophy ungodly university professors have
been brainwashing our young people with for a long
time. In fact, they have powerfully influenced these
unfortunate youth with the false ideas of humanistic
evolution, relativism, and hatred of biblical truth and
righteousness. Although this nation is founded on
principles of biblical righteousness, many of today’s
atheistic-minded educators teach hatred of America.
What is the real truth? It is that we are not free to
choose any god we desire, and we should never consider ourselves as the ultimate authority for the
choices we want to make. There is one true God, the
Creator of all, and He has revealed Himself through
a written record that He has overshadowed by inspiring those who wrote by His Spirit.
This is the challenge we face head-on as we stand
for the truth of biblical righteousness while at the
same time exposing that which is false. We thank
God our Creator for the ministry of Creation Experience Museum. We trust God for His help. RB

WHAT CREATURES DID DINOSAURS EVOLVE FROM?
Dinosaurs are a favorite subject for evolutionists to talk about because it gives them the opportunity
(in their minds) to cling to the idea of millions of years. Also, since dinosaurs are generally a favorite of
children as well, it provides a ready means for influencing them with scientifically unsupported ideas.
Of course, biblical creationists immediately see the conflict with the biblical record of history because all
land animals including dinosaurs would have been created on Day Six of the creation week. Therefore,
the Bible indicates that dinosaurs and humans were contemporary from the very beginning of creation.
But this is anathema to most secular scientists today.
The truth is that evolutionists cannot supply a detailed history to explain the origin of the various
types of dinosaurs. Yet each type of dinosaur would have evolved from pre-dinosaur parents and grandparents during the supposed process of evolution. But there is no evidence of linear chains with links
leading to the dinosaurs we know existed because of the evidence found in the fossil record. In other
words, the supposed transitional forms are totally absent in the rock strata all over the world. Biblical
creationist Duane Gish wrote about this problem of the evolutionists:
“Untold billions of dinosaurs would have lived and died during that alleged 165 million years. If evolution is true, our natural history museums should have numerous fossils of undoubted transitional
forms revealing a gradual evolutionary origin of horns, duck-bills, spikes, plates, crests, bony domes
and many other unique features of the dinosaurs. Not one such transitional form has ever been
found [emphasis his]. The fossil record of dinosaurs is a tremendous, positive testimony to the truth
of special creation” (Evolution: The Fossils Still Say No! Institute for Creation Research, Dallas, TX,
1995 128).
Also, according to secular dating (using the geologic column) the first dinosaur fossils were bipedal walking on two legs. This presents a problem for evolutionists, because how could bipedal dinosaurs evolve
from quadruped—walking on four legs—reptiles. The illustration below shows four different types of
quadruped dinosaurs. Looking at these four types it is easy to see that it would have been an absolute
biological miracle for any process to develop these four-legged creatures from two-legged ones—which
supposedly evolved first. What we actually see is a parallel to what we observe in dogs—variation within
the reproductive limits of this kind of creature. The Bible says, “Then God said, ‘Let the earth bring
forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the
earth, each according to its kind’; and it was so” (Genesis 1:24).

SEEING THE CONNECTION
Some well-meaning Christians may think there
is no need to emphasize belief in a young earth and
universe as opposed to an old earth and universe.
They may say, “What does it matter? It’s not a
salvation issue.” But what may be going on in the
minds of young Christians who are exposed to this
line of thinking? Well, if they have been taught that
biblical chronology taken literally only allows for an
earth and universe of approximately 6000 years, it
will most likely raise serious questions in their
minds about God, creation and the Bible.
Such thinking and teaching could certainly be
connected to the alarming departure of young people
from churches and Christianity we are observing in
recent times. In fact, I would guess that probably a
considerable number of the millennials mentioned
on page one would have had a religious background,
and were most likely raised in church.
So when Christians teach that it doesn’t matter
what the age of the earth and the universe is, they
are actually indicating that the Bible has no
authority to inform us about such things. But the
Bible is actually very clear on the matter as
mentioned above. One cannot insert the idea of
millions of years into the Bible. It just does not
work. What is done, however, is to impose and add
to the Bible this idea of long, millions and billions of
years, and this is something the Bible clearly tells
us should not be done. Proverbs 30:6 reads: “Do not
add to His words, lest He rebuke you, and you
be found a liar.”
If doubt is cast on the reliability and accuracy of
the Scriptures concerning its historical records, it
opens the door to cast doubt on the spiritual
message of a Creator God who wants a relationship
with us through Jesus Christ. As I wrote above,
some would say old earth/young earth is not a
salvation issue. But think about this: If a young
person is searching for truth, even if he or she has
been raised in a religious environment, they might
be discouraged by Christians expressing doubt
about the reliability of the Bible. This in turn could
cause them to question the Gospel by influencing
them not to believe the plain words of Scripture. So
in this sense we see that questioning biblical
chronology can indirectly be a salvation issue.
We have often said as biblical creationists that
the Bible is not a science textbook, but where it
relates to science it is totally accurate. This is why
it is urgent and important to get this truth about
the Bible to our young people today. Satan has done
a masterful job by gaining so much influence in our
educational institutions. Evolutionists are
passionate about spreading their false information
through every means they can, so Christians who
stand for the truth of the Bible should also be
passionate about spreading the truth. First
Timothy 4:1,2 declares:
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in
latter times some will depart from the faith,
giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines
of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having
their own conscience seared with a hot
iron” (1 Timothy 4:1,2)
Yes, we must pray and trust in the strength of
the Lord by His Holy Spirit to combat these
“deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.”
We are engaged in spiritual warfare for the souls of
the unsaved. Our weapons are not carnal (2
Corinthians. 10:4), but Paul encourages us to be
“strong in the Lord and in the power of His
might” (Ephesians 6:10). We see the connection.

Branson area who charge expensive admission fees.
At the beginning of this ministry (2007) we felt led of the Lord
to trust Him to meet our needs by providing free admission. Because of this policy young families with several children can
come without a strain on their finances. This is the Lord’s ministry, and we are trusting Him for all that He would want to accomplish through it. All of our volunteers are thankful for those who
help support CMOTO and make it possible for them to serve.
