Stage One: Wet and Dry Environments Learn about terrestrial and aquatic environments by investigating life in Centennial Parklands’ ponds and by taking a journey through Lachlan wetland. Build a habitat for an animal and learn how to look after these two very important environments. The excursion activities will include: Using a dip net to investigate the different living organisms in an aquatic environment. Following a story through Lachlan wetland, collecting specimens of plants and placing them on a journey stick. Building a habitat for an Australian aquatic or terrestrial animal and developing ways to care for the environment.
