3A. ** 4 Year Old Championship** (Final Only)

90cm – 95cm (1m in final)
** 4 year old Championship will take place at the Final, not against the clock, in
the event of equality of penalties placings will be determined by a panel of
judges.
PRIZE FUND / PRIZES –
There will be cash prizes at all the qualifiers with rosettes for 1st to 6th place.
Final – There will be Cash Prizes / Rugs for all classes with extra Prizes
awarded to:•

Highest placed Thoroughbred Horse – Rug presented by IHWT
Highest placed 5 year old Horse in Class 5.
QUALIFICATION FOR FINAL
Animal / Athlete combination must complete their round at two of the
qualifiers, in either venue.

Each class will be judged as a two phase competition, the latter part of
the Arena course jumped against the clock to determine placings in the
event of equality of faults.
It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure that they wear a protective
helmet manufactured to the minimum specifications as stated for Cross
Country and Body Protectors of a standard approved by BETA for Cross
Country.
It is the responsibility of competitors to ensure that tack and equipment
is safe and suitable.
Any competitor eliminated for a fall of either horse or rider, must leave
the course on foot.
Any competitor incurring elimination in the Arena phase is NOT
permitted to continue on to the X Country phase.
Schooling on the day of competition is not allowed, but may be arranged
for another suitable time by contacting Jenny on 07831 661428.
Dogs MUST be kept on leads at all times.
No refunds given, under ANY circumstances.
All welcome to compete in the final with entry fee for non- qualified
combinations set at £30 – not eligible for prize monies.
Number Bibs MUST be worn and will be supplied by venue - £10
refundable deposit required.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse participation by any
competitor and in the event of a dispute their decision is at all times
final.
