PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY
They say persistence is the key that unlocks the door to success. This study

Business, and Community. With this series, it will be our attempt to examine
success in its proper context and steps that will help us to accomplish this
journey.
Definition of Diligence:
o Dictionary.com: constant and earnest effort to accomplish what is
undertaken; persistent exertion of body or mind.
o Synonym: intensity, laboriousness, keenness,
patience, fortitude, longanimity
o
Longanimity: patient endurance of hardship, injuries, or

Take away my ability to fail and I would not know
the meaning of success. Let me be immune to
rejection and heartbreak and I could not know the
glory of living.

Life Application – How Does This Look
in Life?
1. Take the time each day to seek God’s face for all concerns!
2. If you want to have something – get up and work for it!
3. It’s in your best interest to know the wellbeing of all connected
to you!
Yes, they do no unrighteousness [no willful wandering from His precepts];
they walk in His ways.
4
You have commanded us to keep Your precepts, that we should observe
them diligently.
5
Oh, that my ways were directed and established to observe Your statutes
[hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]!
Proverbs 13:3-5
The Message (MSG)
3
Careful words make for a careful life;
careless talk may ruin everything.
4
Indolence wants it all and gets nothing;
the energetic have something to show for their lives.
5
A good person hates false talk;
a bad person wallows in gibberish.
Proverbs 27:22-28
The Message (MSG)
22
Pound on a fool all you like—
you can't pound out foolishness.
23-27
Know your sheep by name;
carefully attend to your flocks;
(Don't take them for granted;
possessions don't last forever, you know.)
And then, when the crops are in
and the harvest is stored in the barns,
You can knit sweaters from lambs' wool,
and sell your goats for a profit;
There will be plenty of milk and meat
to last your family through the winter.
