Business Seminar Rwanda
Hotel Van de Valk, Zijdeweg 54 2245 BZ Wassenaar – 16 May 14.00 – 17.30
Dutch Council for International Business (DCIB), in cooperation with the Rwanda embassy
in The Hague, is organizing a business seminar to update you about the business
opportunities for your company in Rwanda. Rwanda is an economic and political stable
country with high economic growth and ambitious future perspectives. Key USP’s for
Dutch entrepreneurs are: sectoral development approach, foreign investments policy,
high “ease of doing business” ranking and gateway to Eastern Africa.
The seminar will focus on the following three sectors:
 Agro & food. Rwanda has a need to modernize the agro & food sector and can make
effective use of the broad range of technologies/services of Dutch companies;
 Information & communication technology. Rwanda’s ambition is to become Africa’s
ICT and digital hub and is an excellent hub for Dutch entrepreneurs to market their,
expertise, products and services in Africa;
 Sustainability & Renewable energy. Energy in Rwanda is scarce and expensive.
