Thanks to the great turn-out of parishioners and friends, the generous donations of parishioner businesses and the over 100 hardworking volunteers, and the outstanding leadership of the Fish Fry committee from our PTO, the Fish Fry netted $14,202! The funds will be used as follows: $2,500 to the Corpus Christi Building Fund, PTO will also fix the broken glass in the entrance door to the atrium of the Community Center (approx. $500 in kind donation to the parish); remainder of the funds will be used for various school improvement projects as well as the start up costs for the Fish Fry Fridays 2012. MAY 1 5 , 2 0 1 1 Corpus Christi High School Youth Ministry Attention! th 8 Graders and High School Students Next Sunday, May 22, all high school students AND all 8th graders are invited to our last youth ministry gathering of the school year and the first for our soon-to-be high schoolers — the 8th graders of our parish! We will start with our Youth Mass at 11 a.m., visit the booth tables of the visiting Religious in the grand corridor of the Community Center, then head to a pizza lunch & activities on the 2nd Floor of the Community Center. Just follow the signs! We will hear about some of our activities from this year and our plans for next year, have a few activities, and welcome the 8th graders to the CCHSYM! We will conclude at 2 pm. Being involved in Corpus Christi High School Youth Ministry (CCHYSM) is a great way to stay connected with your parish, your faith and your friends! We offer a wide variety of social events, service opportunities, retreat opportunities, and a monthly gathering.
