You are always welcome in our Service Department at any time,
but in order to serve you more efficiently, we would recommend
that you schedule your visit with our Service Consultants. Your
Consultant will coordinate the scheduling of the repairs, give you an
estimate of completion time and help you with your transportation

Wesley Hare originally started the business as a carriage and wagon making company in
1847. In 1882, W. Hare & Son, Inc. was the largest wagon, buggy, and carriage dealer in
Indiana and surrounding states. Automobile sales were added to the buggy and wagon
business in 1912 and since then, Hare has grown to become the largest Chevrolet dealer
in Indiana. It has endured a dark depression and two world wars. This year,
W. Hare & Son, Inc. is celebrating its
165th anniversary.
Hare Chevrolet now has its 6th generation
descendants of Wesley Hare as the primary owners
and operators of the dealership, sisters Courtney
Cole and Monica Peck. Courtney joined the business
in 1995 after graduating from Indiana University.
Monica also graduated from IU and joined in 2003.
Today, the sisters strive daily to honor their forefathers
by continuing to build Hare’s reputation on family
values and providing outstanding customer service and Courtney Cole and Monica Peck

Hare Collision Center
In the event of an accident, have your car towed to the
Hare Collision Center. No appointment is necessary for an
estimate,and, if required, we will arrange to have your
vehicle collected and delivered back to you. We are an
authorized “Direct Repair Facility” for most major
insurance companies. Our Collision Center hours are
7:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. In addition, we
have an "Early Bird/After Hours" drop off box for those customers wanting to drop
their vehicles off after normal business hours.
