We are born into this world, we grow up doing the things we saw our parents doing,
and our parents learned to do these things from their parents - and so on, and so on.
Do you ever ask yourself where many of these practices originated from?
Aristotle was a very famous Greek philosopher with many
credentials. Back in about 350 BC, Aristotle, the great Greek
philosopher, stated that “the spider has six legs”. No human doubted
what this great man of philosophy said, so, for the following centuries
people went along with his statement. Then, out of nowhere a
common man by the name of James Lamarck arose on the scene.
He was very curious about the details of insects, and in particular,
the common spider, or “daddy long legs,’ as some would call it.
Lamarck decided to count the legs on the spider, and guess what he

found? There were eight legs! He discovered it, because he took the
time and troubles to check it out for himself. For hundreds of years,
millions of people had been misled because of the fame and trust of
one man. For thousands of years, Aristotle was wrong, and yet not
one person had the where-with all to actually pick up a spider, look
at it closely, and confirm that it had eight legs.
Today you and I know spiders do not have six legs like every other insect; rather they
have eight legs (Very unusual for an insect). Likewise many people believe in things
their parents, pastors, teachers and peers say, without checking out if they are true. A
lot of people do not want to know what Truth is; they just want to live life as they see it.
They miss out on the very essence of life- which is to learn and live a life of Truth.
Why do people celebrate Easter?
They say it is to celebrate the death and resurrection of 'Jesus Christ'. Is this really true?
Easter was initially celebrated by pagans long before the birth and death of Jesus
Christ.
History tells us that modern Easter
celebration was instituted by the Pagan
Roman Empire and the council of
Nicaea, in order to merge Christianity
and Paganism.

true origin of Easter and how it is linked

Does the Savior care If, When, How, Why and Where we celebrate Easter? Is it His
design that we celebrate this feast- which has so long been linked with paganism? Is
Easter truly a commemoration of the Saviors death and resurrection?
WHY YOU MUST BE CONCERNED!
The greatest question any man should ask is: what
is the duty of man here on earth? Why are we
here? And what is the duty of man to His Creator
while he spends his fleeting life here on earth?
Fear of the Creator and obedience to His laws is
the essential duty of all mankind (Ecclesiastics 12
vs 13).
The highest power, fame, riches etc. - are nothing
before the Creator. All He wants from us is for us to
do His will. And His will is summed up in His laws.
Many churches today promote activities which
YAHUWAH (YAHUWAH is the Hebrew name of
„Elohim‟ the Eternal Father) the Creator has not sanctioned, while purposefully
neglecting the ones He has expressly asked us to obey.
When the Savior was on earth He said:
"They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.
You have let go of the commands of [Elohim] and are holding on to
human traditions.” (Mark 7 vs 7-8 NIV).
Easter day celebration is a time for merriment and feasting, majority of the members of
orthodox, protestant and charismatic churches will be led by their mother church
(Catholicism) in the observance of this feast - the celebration of EASTER, which many
claim and believe is the celebration of the Death and Resurrection of the Savior.
Is Easter Celebration one of such vain teachings and practice instituted by men?

THE BEGINNING - EASTER FROM PAGAN ROOTS
Easter celebration has long been
linked with pagan worship. Long
before 'Jesus' was born, a lot of
cultures and traditions have
been celebrating Easter under
different names and themes.
Historians today see all of the
features of Easter celebration
practiced
by people
and
churches today: as they were
practiced in ancient pagan
Easter worship.
The name Easter (#EASTER) is
etymologically derived from two
different sources.
One is from Ishtar. - As was called by the Assyrians long before the birth of Christ.
The other is from Northern Europe- Eostre
(a.k.a. Eastre).
In both cases - ISHTAR and EOSTRE were very important goddesses to the erstwhile
pagan worshippers. She, (ISHTAR or EOSTRE) was regarded as the 'great mother
goddess'. Or as the bible called her in the book of Jeremiah: 'the queen of heaven'.
SO WHO IS 'ISHTAR', 'EOSTRE' - 'EASTER'?
For us to truly know who, or what Easter is, we must go back in time to the period just
after Noah and the flood.
You remember the entire world was so wicked and in the worship of Idols that the
Creator had to reset the world with flood during the time of Noah.
But after the flood, Humans were still so adamant that they returned back to Idol
worship. And the first Idol worshipper after the flood was 'Nimrod'.

'Nimrod' gathered all the people of the earth of that time and told them to build a
tower that will ascend into Heaven, just in-case the Creator decided to destroy the
Earth again with water.
The people agreed, and led by
Nimrod they decided to go ahead
with the task of building the 'Tower of
Babel'.
Cut long story short - The Creator out
of love and mercy didn't destroy them,
but
decided
to
change
and
confound their language (tongues) so
they would not all destroy themselves
in the aim of trying to destroy the
Creator.

But each of these people, with their
varying languages, carried the practice of their idol worship to the different parts of the
earth to which they were spread. They venerated NIMROD as the one true god, who
after he died reincarnated as the sun - Hence the beginning of ''worship of the Sun'.
All through civilization is spread one common pattern of paganism - the worship of
Nimrod in the form of the Sun. See - (Gen 10 vs 9-11 and Gen 11 vs 1-9.)
The question now remains - Where does 'Ishtar' or 'Easter' comes into this pagan mix?
Easter- Ishtar- or Semiramis as she was known then, was the Wife of Nimrod.
QUICK FACT- Remember that it was Nimrod who started the building of Babylon as a
city and that, 'Babel' or 'Babylon' simply means confusion.
EASTER A PAGAN GODDESS
Semiramis ('Ishtar' or 'Easter') was the wife of Nimrod (Nimrod was, and still is worshipped
as the sun-god by many religions today).
Semiramis, was after the death of her husband worshipped as a goddess of fertility and
in the Bible she was referred to as the pagan: 'queen of heaven'.

and they pour out drink offerings to other

The point here, is the fact that the people of Israel were practicing Idolatry by making
cakes to the 'Queen of Heaven, and this was long before the Savior was born.
Today, the people who celebrate Easter in the name of celebrating the resurrection of
Christ also practice the making of cakes to the Queen of Heaven.
As a common practice of Easter, people bake cakes -- called; 'Hot cross buns.'
EASTER PRACTICES
We have seen the example of the baking of cakes (Hot cross buns) during Easter period
as they refer to pagan worship of Ishtar or Ashtoreth as she was known during the time
of prophet Jeremiah.
Other practices were also carried out during this period of celebrating this pagan feast.
See Ezekiel: 8 vs 13-14. Part of the celebration of Easter in earlier times involves a
weeping period.
"And He said to me, 'Turn again, and you will see greater
abominations that they are doing.' So He brought me to the
door of the north gate of . . . [Yahuwah's] house; and to my
dismay, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz (THE
SON OF 'THE QUEEN OF HEAVEN)."

was
an
indispensable preliminary to the great annual
festival in commemoration of the death and
resurrection of Tammuz, - which was celebrated
by alternate weeping and rejoicing.
So the 40 days of lent is connected with the
Babylonian goddess Ashtoreth/Astarte/Ishtar
and worship of the god Tammuz.
QUICK NOTE.. - TAMMUZ is the son of
ISHTAR/Easter, and is venerated also as a god of
rebirth, vegetation and regeneration.

Tammuz's birthday is usually celebrated every December 25th. Ancient
paganism believes, Tammuz is a reincarnation of Nimrod, the one true Sun god.
So you see that Christmas day is another pagan feast that has crept into
mainstream Christianity as it is originally supposed to celebrate Tammuz’s (son of
Nimrod and Semiramis) birthday. Sun worship has its benchmark in all three of
these acclaimed gods, (Sun-day worship, Easter Celebration and Christmas
Celebration) all from pagan roots.
MORE EASTER PRACTICES
Apart from the baking of cakes and the forty (40) days of weeping for TAMMUZ as
stated in Jer: 7 vs 17-18 and Ezekiel : 8 vs 13-14, there also exist many other practices
associated with Easter celebration, which can be directly linked to worship of the
pagan goddess- Ishtar or Ashtoreth/Astarte/Eostre/Eastre.
Ever heard of the Easter eggs?
The mystery religions (paganism) teach that Semiramis (Ishtar) was herself immaculately
conceived and was lowered from the
heavens to the earth in a giant egg. This
egg came to rest in the waters of the
Euphrates River. Eggs are also symbols of
fertility, and as Semiramis (Ishtar) was
also a fertility goddess the symbol of the
egg became thoroughly associated
with her worship.
Those who knew Semiramis under the
name of Ishtar spoke of Ishtar‟s egg,
from which we get our current Easter
egg.
In modern Easter celebration, these
eggs are painted in brilliant and
beautify colors, but very few know their
true meaning and Origin.

MORE ISHTAR/EASTER SYMBOLISM
Ishtar or Eostre or Ashtarte or whatever name you address her with, was a pagan
goddess of fertility and springtime. Her earthly symbol was the rabbit. Rabbits, being
very fertile, were often used in early Christian art as a sign of fertility and new life.
There is also the symbolism of rising early on Sunday to start the Easter day celebration,
which was usually in honor of the Sun god (Nimrod/Tammuz) - there is little or no cause
for refutation. Easter generally, in many of its practices is intertwined with paganism and
Sun worship.

CALENDAR WAR – CHRISTIANITY & EASTER
[The First Council of Nicaea was a council of Christian bishops convened in Nicaea in
Bithynia by the Roman Emperor Constantine I in AD 325. This first ecumenical council
was the first effort to attain consensus in the church through an assembly representing
all of Christendom.[5] It was presided by Hosius of Corduba, a bishop from the West and
probably a Papal delegate.
Its main accomplishments were settlement of the Christological issue of the nature of
the Son of God and his relationship to God the Father,[3] the construction of the first part
of the Creed of Nicaea, establishing uniform observance of the date of Easter,[6] and

Easter celebration like
Christmas
and
the
Veneration of Mary is
one of the numerous
pagan
traditions
introduced
by
the
Roman Catholic into
main stream Christianity.
According to the Roman Catholic Catechism:
"Easter is not simply one feast among others, but the "Feast of feasts,"
the "Solemnity of solemnities," just as the Eucharist is the "Sacrament of
sacraments" (the Great Sacrament). St. Athanasius calls Easter "the
Great Sunday" and the Eastern Churches call Holy Week "the Great
Week." The mystery of the Resurrection, in which Christ crushed

The Easter celebration practiced around the world today is only possible because of a
change in the type of calendar used (Jewish- Julian- Gregorian). In this write-up, we will
not dwell so much in this change in calendar, but it must be clearly understood, that
modern day Easter celebration is only now possible because a council of Roman

bishops under the auspices of the Roman emperor 'Constantine' made this change,
which you will see from a statement made from the Emperor Constantine himself in
proceeding section.
Also note that, one of the major reasons for this change was to establish a Uniform
observance of the date for Easter.
THE PASSOVER OR EASTER?
Before the change of calendar by the Council of Nicaea - fomented by the Roman
emperor 'Constantine', the Passover was the feast celebrated by the early Christians
before their compromise with Emperor Constantine and paganism.
The Savior died on the evening before the Sabbath day! He rested in the grave on the
Sabbath-day and rose up the day after, which is the First day of the week; but,
because of the change in calendar, it is almost impossible to place the actual date of
the True Sabbath (When the Savior rested on the grave) or the Day He resurrected,
which is the First day of the week; except we go back to following time and date as
stated in Gen: 1 vs 14 (Using the sun, moon and stars as rule for determining time and
calendar [LUNI-SOLAR CALENDAR]), and as was being followed by early Judaism. (This is
another topic in itself, to be treated another day).
All who worship on Sunday in honor of “Easter Sunday” as the day of the Savior's
resurrection are honoring a Roman Catholic institution which itself is based upon
ancient pagan fertility celebrations.
The truth is; Easter is a fraud. It is not the day upon which the Savior arose from the
grave nor is Saturday the seventh-day Sabbath of the Bible. Easter is, and has always
been a pagan holiday celebrating fertility. It was substituted for Yahuwah‟s Passover at
the Council of Nicæa in the fourth century when the Church of Rome decided to set
aside Hebrew calculation of time.
Do you know that the great Scientist Isaac Newton was
very interested in Bible prophecy and time calculations?
When he tried to calculate the date of the Savior‟s death
and the date of his resurrection (Supposedly Easter), there
remained inconsistencies because his calculations were
based on the Julian and Gregorian calendar instead of the
true biblical Luni-Solar calendar.

THE TRUTH
One of the few feasts ordained by the Creator in commemoration of salvation, was the
feast of Passover - as found in the book of (Lev: 23 vs 4-5) and as directed in (Exo 12).
This was how the Early Christians celebrated Redemption.
Also, the Savior expressly commanded that we celebrate the Last Supper in
remembrance of Him. These were the feasts celebrated by the Disciples and followers
of the Savior before the change in calendar and introduction of Easter celebration by
the Roman dictator - Emperor Constantine, through the Council of Nicaea.
"[Emperor Constantine stated], 'For
it is unbecoming beyond measure
that on this holiest of festivals
(Pagan Easter) we should follow
the customs of the
Jews. Henceforward let us have
nothing in common with this odious
people; our Savior (Tammuz) has
shown us another path. It would indeed be absurd if the Jews were
able to boast that we are not in a position to celebrate the Passover
without the aid of their rules ([time] calculations).”

Nowhere in the bible is there a passage in support of Easter, Christmas, Sunday or Sun
worship; which are all Institutions or traditions of men. Easter is a counterfeit celebration
of pagan origin which is used to replace the feast of Passover. Easter also makes it look
like the Savior resurrected on Sunday. The Bible says the Savior resurrected on the first
day of the week, not Sunday!
Since the change in calendar from using the Sun and Moon (Luni-Solar) for calculating
time as was specified in Gen 1:14 to a man-made calendar that only uses the Sun

(Gregorian), people have come to think that the first day of the week is Sunday. But this
is not true. And that is why, it is impossible for Easter to have a fixed date!
According to the bible, the Savior died on the day of Passover, which is Nissan 14th.
Using the Calendar which the Bible specified, it is easy to know exactly the day the
Savior died, the day he resurrected and the date for the Passover. But more
importantly, it helps us to locate the true Sabbath day! Which is the day in-between the
Savior‟s death and his resurrection.
There remain so many more answers to be found, but with all
certainty, and without any doubt, we can find every truth we
need when we search the scriptures.
DO YOU KNOW: Moslem‟s have a similar problem of locating
their feast date on the Gregorian calendar, since they use only
the moon for calculating dates for their feast. It is a common
occurrence to hear that the Moslems won‟t end their fast until a
particular period when they can see the moon.
HOW AM I AFFECTED BY EASTER CELEBRATION?
Businesses today promote Holiday
seasons, mainly because they
want to make profit, they want
you and I to spend money on this,
and every other paganized
holiday season that has crept into
the world through the apostate
church. The question is - What
does the Creator want me to do?
And when does he wish that I do it?
Many people do not truly understand the significance of all this. You will ask; how does
all of this affect me? You can say: I am not a Catholic; neither do I celebrate Easter or
believe in these pagan gods - so why should I be concerned about this?

Everyone on earth should, and must be concerned about
this - because, the change in calendar and the bringing in
of abominable celebrations into worship of the Creator of
„Heaven, Earth and of Mankind‟ is a direct rebellion
against YAHUWAH. And all of this is orchestrated by the
great deceiver Lucifer!
It is Lucifer - the Devil, who wishes that all humanity be
steeped in ignorance, that all humans be nonchalant to
the worship of their Creator. That we Humans debase ourselves lower and lower with
every abominable and lewd celebration he can construct.
There is a great battle going on, and those who are not
prepared will be swept away by the tides of paganism
which have become norms in today‟s world. The feast
of Passover has great significance and helps us in our
Christian experience to understand the redemptive
love and power of heaven through the sanctuary
service. We cannot fully comprehend the fullness of our
Savior‟s death except we see it through the eyes of the
Passover feast.
Satan doesn‟t want people to know about the
connections of the Sanctuary service, the Feast of
Passover, the Feast of Tabernacles and most
importantly the true day of the Sabbath. Satan has
quietly replaced these feast days and events which our
Heavenly Father has ordained with pagan ones, and
the whole world has wondered after the beast and his
image (Rev 13:3).
Easter celebration, Christmas day celebration and
worshiping on a day dedicated to the sun-god (Sunday) are what the Anti-Christ will
use as stepping stones in making the whole world receive the Mark of the Beast!

THE MARK OF THE BEAST (666)
The change in calendar, the
inclusion
of
abominable
feasts such as Easter and
Christmas will lead to the setup of the Anti-Christ and the
implementation of the Mark
of the Beast.
Every true follower of the
Creator must now begin to
study the words of the Savior,
so that they will know for
themselves what Truth is and
choose for themselves what is right. Waiting for your pastor or church to help you make
decisions will cost you your own eternal destiny. Easter celebration is no mere
happenstance; it was purposefully grafted into worship of the Creator, in order to cause
you and I to forget our „One true‟ loving Savior and Redeemer (YAHUWSHUWAH). And
whose true story of Redemption for fallen humanity can only be appreciated by
celebrating the Passover and the Last Supper.
We must learn what the mark of the Beast is. Are not the whole world now wondering
after this institution (Rev 13:3), whose sole aim is to set it‟s throne above that of the
Creator. Thinking to change times and laws. See - Daniel: 7 vs 25.
This 'Anti-Christ' can only think to change Times and Laws such as the Calendar and the
true day of Sabbath, but what YAHUWAH our Creator has ordained, can never be
moved forever. His words and His kingdom will last for all eternity.
AMEN!!
QUICK FACT: The great controversy of the bible is about worship, worship of the
Creator or worship of Lucifer as the sun-god. The gods mentioned in the old
testament like Baal, Dagon, Shamash, Molech etc. can mostly be linked as
originating from the worship of Nimrod as the sun-god, and this is the same issue
which will lead to whether you worship the beast and receive its mark at the
end of time.

CONCLUSION - WHAT CAN I DO TO BE SAVED!
So many errors, so many lies, so many deceptions, the Devil is working unimaginably
hard to lead the entire Universe into perdition. Should you and I stand aloof in
nonchalance?
Note- There is only two sides to this controversy:
1. Those that will stand for Truth and exposé every error with the express and plain words
of the bible, these are they who keep the commandment of Elohiym and have the
testimony of YaHuShuWaH (Rev 14:12 & Rev 12:17). At the end; these will receive a seal
of Elohiym on their foreheads a seal whose mark will be the true Sabbath.
2. Those that will join in rebellion with Lucifer and seek to overthrow the law of the
Creator by joining in building a modern day tower of Babel (Babylon). These people will
be as described in (Rev 21:8). They will also receive a mark on their hands or on their
foreheads; this will be the mark of the beast (Rev 13:16-18, & Rev 14:9-11).
The warning given by the Savior is - Come out of her my people! Come out of Babylon
(Rev 14 vs 8-9), which make the whole world drink of the wine of her fornication; Such
as the idolatrous celebration of Easter, Christmas and Sun-worship [(worshipping on
Sunday (the counterfeit Sabbath)].
In the judgment, men will not be condemned because they conscientiously believed a
lie, but because they did not believe the Truth, because they neglected the opportunity
of learning what is Truth.

And for us, “upon whom the ends of the world are come…” History is being repeated.
The world today has its Ahabs and its Jezebels. The present age is one of idolatry, as
verily as was that in which Elijah lived. No outward shrine may be visible; there may be
no image for the eye to rest upon; yet thousands are following after the gods of this
world--after riches, fame, pleasure, and the pleasing fables that permit man to follow
the inclinations of the unregenerate heart.
Multitude have a wrong conception of God and His attributes, and are as truly serving a
false god as were the worshipers of Baal. Many even of those who claim to be Christians
have allied themselves with influences that are unalterably opposed to God and His
truth. Thus they are led to turn away from the divine and to exalt the human. {PK 177.1}
The prevailing spirit of our time is one of infidelity and apostasy--a spirit of avowed
illumination because of a knowledge of truth, but in reality of the blindest presumption.
Human theories are exalted and placed where God and His law should be. Satan
tempts men and women to disobey, with the promise that in disobedience they will find
liberty and freedom that will make them as gods. There is seen a spirit of opposition to
the plain word of God, of idolatrous exaltation of human wisdom above divine
revelation.
Men have allowed their minds to become so darkened and confused by conformity to
worldly customs and influences that they seem to have lost all power to discriminate
between light and darkness, truth and error. So far have they departed from the right
way that they hold the opinions of a few philosophers, so-called, to be more trustworthy
than the truths of the Bible. The entreaties and promises of God's word, its threatenings
against disobedience and idolatry--these seem powerless to melt their hearts. A faith
such as actuated Paul, Peter, and John they regard as old-fashioned, mystical, and
unworthy of the intelligence of modern thinkers. {PK 178.1}
In the beginning, God gave His law to mankind as a means of attaining happiness
and eternal life. Satan's only hope of thwarting the purpose of God is to lead men and
women to disobey this law, and his constant effort has been to misrepresent its
teachings and belittle its importance. His master stroke has been an attempt to change
the law itself, so as to lead men to violate its precepts while professing to obey it.
