In pursuance of section 31 of the Regulation of Generation, Transmission and Distribution uf Electric Power Act,
'1997 (XL of 1997) and. inter alia. for maintaining uniforrn rates of electric power for each of consumer CJtcgory of XWDISCOs and KElectric, the Federal Government has already notified the electricity tariff, subject to and along with amount of sUbsidy and sun;tlarges
for XWDISCOs vide SRO Nos. 566(1)12015 to 575(1)/2015 dated the 10 Juno 2015 In addition Fuel Price Adjustment Mechanism has
also been notified as Annex-ll and SRO Nos. 11(1)/2010 dated: January 01, 2010 for K,Electric.
In order to further rationalize the payments that, XWDISCOs and f{·Eloctric are to receive from its industrial
consumers per above it is hereby notiiied that with effect from 01.January. 2016 payment for the industrial consumers of all
XWDISCOs and K-Elactric be reduced by Rs. 3/kWh, which reduction srlsli be inclusive of any downward revision of Fuel Price
Adjustment notified in or after January 2016 and onwards. The difference between tl1e relevant payment due from industrial consumer
per SRO vide SRO Nos. 566(1)/2015 to 575(1)/2015 dated the 10 June 2015 and SRO Nos. 11(1)/2010 dated: January 01,2010 for KElectric and special relief packaqe notified hereunder adjusted with any downward revision of Fuel Price Adjustment as above, shall
be paid to XWDISCOs and K-Electric by the Federal Government per the notification for rationalization of process of payment of
subsidy.
Provided that this notification unless modified or witl1drawn earlier by tile Federal Government
remain in field till notifica1ion of new tariff lor XWDISCOs and K-Electric.
