Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad Great Expectations by Charles Dickens PAPER FORMAT Your name: Book Title: Protagonist: Theme: The body of the paper should consist of an analysis of the protagonist’s decisions that lead to the works’ climax, a discussion of the contributing ironic and/or foreshadowing elements, and an illustration of how these elements prove the theme. ALSO, compare your findings with ANY work of literature you have studied (e.g. How might Stella in Great Expectations be similar in her actions to Daisy from The Great Gatsby? Give specific examples). All papers should be double‐spaced, written in the third person objective point of view, and written in the present/present perfect tenses. ONE POINT will be deducted from the paper for each mechanical error.
