Scholastic 3D Archery is a nonprofit organization that’s mission is to foster, educate and guide youth in the areas of 3-D and Indoor archery. The program is entirely after school and it allows students the opportunity to learn about and grow their archery abilities in a safe and educational environment. Students compete in 3D and Indoor archery tournaments across the state and country, which provides students the opportunities to be involved with different archery companies and local archery shops. Students also have a chance to earn college scholarships for their athletic performance. Scholastic 3D Archery has partnered with US Collegiate Archery Association and this partnership allows many opportunities for many colleges across the nation to see the potential that S3DA archers have. This college exposure also opens up the opportunities for scholarships. The 2015 S3DA 3D National Tournament saw students receive well over $264,000 in college scholarships. Students also had the opportunity to meet the coaches from various colleges and learn about their opportunities to continue their education through archery. Benefits for Students Archery is proven to help students in many different ways including: Focus and Concentration Confidence Character development Sense of belonging Scholarship opportunities Improved behavior S3DA Partnerships S3DA is proud to be partnered with the Archery Shooters Association (ASA) and the National Field Archery Association (NFAA) as a guide for rules and regulations for our 3D and Indoor tournaments.
