(3) Who are the main customer groups
affected by this policy, strategy,
function or budget proposal and has
there been prior consultation
undertaken?
The main customer groups are children and families. The proposal, in two phases is in the
first instance likely to impact on senior management and so the change at the front line will
be primarily related to changing line management and accountability of staff, it is unlikely
there will be an impact at the customer level.
This proposal was included as part of the public Budget Consultation 2017-2020 and
received 16 responses, with the majority agreeing the proposal was reasonable.
(4) Using the table below please consider the impact of the policy, strategy, function or budget proposal on the protected
characteristics as identified in the Equality Act 2010. If you have identified negative impact then a full EIA will need to be
completed. Please note Question 5 should be answered in relation to impact on employees.
