Welcome from
Gullivers
For over 30 years, Gullivers Sports Travel has
organised England cricket supporter tours, taking
our first Ashes tour to Australia back in 1982. Travel
has changed a lot since then, but creating the
special camaraderie enjoyed on tour remains at the
heart of everything Gullivers does.
The Ashes in Australia is enticing enough and for the first time since the
1970s we are being treated to a back-to-back Ashes Series. As far as
sporting rivalries go it doesn’t get any bigger than Australia v England,
and it goes without saying that the Ashes in Australia is the most
prestigious event in the hearts and minds of England cricket fans.
Lead by Alastair Cook, this Series has all the makings of yet another
historic tour for England. Those in the know said that Cook was
destined for great things very early on. In the Ashes Series 2010/11 he
came good on a host of promises, scoring an incredible 766 runs in
seven innings to anchor England's first series win in Australia for 24
years. Two years later and further records were broken as he became
England's leading Test century-maker and the youngest player to pass
7,000 runs.

Arrive in Brisbane and transfer to the Sofitel Brisbane
for eight nights. This evening get to know the rest of

Day at leisure. Visiting The Pinnacles is a popular day
trip from Perth. Rising out of the desert floor like
something from a lunar landscape, they were formed
by an abundance of seashells blown here from the sea
many thousands of years ago. On the trip look out for
kangaroos, emus, cockatoos and other birds.
