What is Talent
Match?
“Talent Match” is a Big Lottery funded Programme developed to
support young people aged 18 – 24 who have been out of work for 12
months or more to enter training, employment or self employment /
enterprise.
Talent Match Birmingham and Solihull is led by a Voluntary sector
partnership.
What are Talent
Match
Ambassadors?
Talent Match Ambassadors will have an exciting opportunity to make a
difference to the lives of young unemployed people in Birmingham and
Solihull.
Who and what
are we looking
for?
18 – 24 Years old and unemployed for 12 months and experiencing
barriers to moving into employment.
In order to make sure Talent Match provides valuable and quality
experiences we want to develop a group of Ambassadors to help shape
and champion the Talent Match programme across Birmingham and
Solihull.
Willingness to work as part of a team
Basic IT skills
Commitment
Ability to communicate with others
Training will be given
What you will
do.
We will provide
training in specific
skills needed.
Organise and attend local events
Use social media to enable young people to communicate and share
their views about unemployment.
Represent young people’s views and opinions in decisions about Talent
Match.
Promote the Talent Match programme
To champion the issues of youth unemployment.

Other Information
All reasonable Travel and out of pocket expenses will be paid.
You may be required to undertake a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau
Check) in order to fulfill your Ambassador duties.
