THE NATIONAL
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FARRIERS, BLACKSMITHS AND AGRICULTURAL
ENGINEERS awards medals to promote and encourage competitions in farriery, concurrently
assessing the farriery competitors’ skills on forging and horseshoeing against the highest standards,
impelling them to be triumphant over fellow competitors whilst striving to attain a “perfect score”,
thereby promoting excellence in farriery whilst maintaining a spirit of good sportsmanship and friendly
competition.

kindly presented to the RWAS by the South Wales Branch of The National Association of Farriers
Blacksmiths and Agricultural Engineers' for the winner of Class 1.

Challenge Cups and Trophies – PLEASE NOTE: - The Society has decided that from 2011 the
Challenge Cups and Trophies will be permanently housed in a purpose made Trophy Room situated in the
Clwyd Glamorgan Hall. The winner of each Challenge Cup and Trophy will be awarded an Official RWAS
Memento as a keepsake; their name will also be engraved on the Challenge Cups and Trophies.
All cups, trophies and awards which are not the responsibility of the Society are marked with a*.
