Read each of the following thesis statements for Macbeth and grade them. One should receive and A, one a B, and so on.

_______1. Although Macbeth is hungry for power, Lady Macbeth is the character who creates the plans to gain
power and implement them.
_______2. If Lady Macbeth was not so controlling, Macbeth would have followed his conscious.
_______3. Although she is not the main character, Lady Macbeth’s greed for power allows her to manipulate
Macbeth and create chaos, and finally cause the downfall of them both.

and is manipulated by his wife.
