The OLPH Festival Choir, directed by Russell Stern, will sing. This is not a concert, but the music will serve to enhance the prayerfulness of the Mass. The Church requires all those between 18 and 59 years of age to fast and abstain from meat on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. Service (Or Almsgiving) helps us experience faith in action. Reconciliation Service - Monday, March 23 at 7:00 pm Hear God’s word proclaimed, then take part in an examination of conscience. Several priests, from our parish and elsewhere, will assist with individual confessions and absolution as you are ready. Two smaller meals may be taken, not to equal one full meal. All Catholics age 14 and older are to abstain from meat on the Fridays of Lent.
