Endermologie is a natural treatment modality developed by
a French biomechanical engineer, Louis Paul Guitay. He was
involved in an accident and suffered severe burns and scar tissue
to most of his body. His personal recovery process inspired his
development of Endermologie, to stimulate cellular regeneration
without causing discomfort or patient downtime. He did this by
combining the principles of massage with the concept of negative
pressure, first seen in ancient Chinese cupping therapy.
Negative pressure has been observed to be approximately 200
times more effective than positive, downward pressure. Rather
than applying more pressure on the muscles and tissue, this
negative pressure draws the tissue up, releasing pressure and
inducing deep lymphatic drainage and venous circulation. At the
same time, fat cells, lactic acid, excess fluid, toxins and other
cellular wastes are also released and drained out of the tissue.

What is Endermologie & how does it work?

During an Endermologie treatment, blood circulation is increased
by 400% for a minimum of 6hrs and lymphatic circulation is
increased by 300% for a minimum of 4hrs. Both these heighten
functions can last up to 3 days and even longer after each
consecutive session, progressively strengthening these networks
for long term results. This will facilitate significant detoxification
of the entire body and so, you may experience some detox
symptoms such as dizziness, mild nausea or headaches. These
are commonly experienced after deep lymphatic drainage and
circulatory treatments due to the movement of toxins in the
body that were previously inactive or dormant in stagnant tissue.
Erythema or reddening of the skin can occur with successful
