Summary:
EZ2 and EZ3 series programs Ver. 3.05 and Ver. 3.07 had been developed to fix the
bugs described in this document (pages 4-6). Program Ver. 3.11 is an update to program
Ver. 3.07 with the same bug correction routines in addition to features supporting the
new Job Separator IV:NIII option.
EZ2/3 series program Ver. 3.11 supersedes Ver. 3.05/3.07. Hence, machines with
Ver. 2.03 should be upgraded with Ver. 3.11. Connecting the new Job Separator IV:
NIII option to EZ2/3 series requires program Ver. 3.11.
In “Major changes with Ver. 3.05” on page 3, Print Pressure Adjustment (Test Mode
1248) does not apply to EZ2 series machines since they do not have a Pressure Control
Mechanism.
This document combines EZ2/EZ3 series program versions 3.05, 3.07 and 3.11 update
information. Please update EZ2/3 with their respective programs Ver. 3.11.

ST Interval Action Selection
When selecting Non-stop mode (TM 1247 to ”1”), Interval
Action Selection (TM 3172) depends on tape insertion condition. At speeds 4 & 5, tape may hit ejected paper, hence
selecting Interval mode (TM 3172 to “1”) causes the drum to
rotate with no paper fed/ejected within a certain time interval.
This mode synchronizes printing with sorting tape insertion.
