Business-to-Business EXPO EXHIBITOR FAQ’S POLICIES & PROCEDURES What does my exhibitor booth include? Your booth comes with pipe and drape, one 6’x24” table with tablecloth and skirting, 2 chairs, a wastebasket, an identification sign and 2 name badges. Booth Information: You are welcome to bring your own tablecloth, although your table will come with a white cloth and skirt. The identification sign provided for you comes with the booth and helps with move-in but you are welcome to bring your own. Pins, tape or staples are not permitted to be used to attach items to the drapes. You may use binder clips or “S” hooks with fishing line to hang light weight items. Some “S” hooks will be available at move-in. All booths must be staffed during all hours of the Expo. All display, demonstrations or other activities must be confined to the limits of the exhibitor’s assigned booth. No booth display element may extend beyond contracted booth side boundaries. Failure to comply with these rules may result in exclusion from Expo next year. How can I get power to my booth? Electrical hookups (600 watts/amps) can be pre-ordered from the Cobb Chamber of Commerce at a discounted rate of $50 by May 4 or purchased on the show floor at the event directly from the Cobb Galleria Centre at a higher rate. You are responsible for your own extension cords and power strips. Please bring a 50’ length, minimum 14 gage grounded extension cord for use. We strongly urge you to bring a surge protector plug-in strip, even if you have only one item to plug in. Please do not bring flimsy home extension cords; they can cause power outages and problems. I’m not a “Restaurant” but can I serve snacks and drinks at my booth? If you will be bringing ANY sort of food items to your booth, please complete a food distribution form and fax it to the Cobb Galleria Centre. A form is available at www.cobbchamber.org/businessexpo. You may NOT serve beverages at your booth. Water will be available throughout the Show Floor. What time can I set up and move out? Doors will open at 10 a.m. to begin set-up. No one will be allowed on the show floor prior to 10:00 a.m. When you arrive, you will receive an exhibitor packet complete with a map and directions to unloading areas and temporary parking areas. Be sure to bring your own carts, additional manpower and everything you need to get your items from your vehicle to your booth. There is no guarantee that extra carts or other items will be available for use during set up or move out. Booths must be manned during event hours. Do not begin tear down until 7:00 p.m., which is the end of the show. No shows and early tear downs may result in exclusion from Expo next year. Exhibitors must leave booth space in the same conditions in which it was found. All boxes, crates, pallets, brochures, etc. must be removed. A fee will be assessed if trash is left in the booth space. Business-to-Business EXPO How do I get the $25 early registration discount? To receive the $25 early registration discount, you must have completed the registration form (either hard copy or online) and payment must be received by the Cobb Chamber by noon on March 12, 2012. Registration unaccompanied by payment will not be considered valid until payment is received. Selected booth space will not be held until payment is received. Refund Policy: Payment must be received at time of registration to confirm exhibitor space. No refunds will be offered after the registration deadline of April 27, 2012.
